so much DA-bashing in that linked thread, but I have to admit that I did laugh at that comment :

"Bioware, are you ok? Post a trailer set to Marilyn Manson if you're ok."

I love good graphics but overall the story is far more important to me; so DA wins in that aspect.

Well, to the individual, of course it's their individual view that matters. But in the grand scheme of things, it's the majority view that matters. What I was trying to say was, that Anathemic is wasting her time. What the point of changing individual opinions if the majority enjoy the Witcher? It got a decent Metacritic overall which I'm sure is more than enough from CDProjekt and they got enough sales to make a sequal. Why Anathemic sees it as a personal goal to change my opinion and continue on playing the game I don't enjoy, I don't know.

Defend your's? I don't remember ever refuting your opinion, I only defended the reasons for my own. Actually I specifically remember agreeing that to you the Witcher is a great game (for you). You've just being pulling out arguements for arguement's sake.

Also the conversation was more like this.

"I, personally, didn't enjoy the Witcher"
"Why?"
"Because I felt that from the first 3 hours, it was not the game for me"
"That's wrong, because you need evidence for an opinion"
"Urr...no you don't"

I expect the game to meet with Bioware's usual concerns with quality in their games, which may not meet with some player expectations. On the whole, however, I suspect this topic is more trollish than than anything else...
