Is Witcher 2 going to have better graphics? Sure. I still think DA2 looks good, though, just not in the photo-realistic way that Witcher 2 is going for.



Also, pointing out some background skeletons being low-poly as an example of bad graphics doesn't really hold up. If everything was like that, then sure. But a background prop isn't enough to make me throw my hands up in the air and say it's terrible.

I do, and I do. I recommend you do the same. The Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2 are awesome. As well as Full throttle. Can't forget Day of the Tentacle or Sam and Max Hit the Road, nor the Indiana Jones classic graphic adventures. Or Baldur's Gate. King of Fighters 98' is also a great game, as is Fatal Fury Real Bout. All games which I replay every now and then and find as enjoyable as the first time.

Despite how awesome it looks, let me say that I probably won't buy TW2. I didn't like the first, and I'm not a fan of European RPGs in general. Not to mention, CD Projekt has been mean and rude when it came to talking about DA2, and they have a trailer for TW2 which is, quite basically, Triss as Varric and Geralt as Hawke.

Yes, I know the devs denied knowing about DA2's storytelling device. I want to believe them, but being ***holes in general to Bioware doesn't help.

Stop hating. CDProjekt never insulted Bioware or any other developer quit the opposite actually. They did make some stupid statements but the one said by Tomasz Gop about graphics is take way out context. It is ok not to like the Witcher or European Rpg everyone has their own taste when it comes to games. The prison break is only a trailer though not a game mechanic like in DA2. They may have not known or even if they did does it make a difference? Did the DA2 team came up with the idea of one character telling a story to another Character? No.

they are improved, when compared to origins, which is all they said
not once did they state that this game would be a graphic marvel

It was already mentioned that pc users will be getting extra texture packs, I believe it was mentioned in the live demo by Mike, the stuff shown so far has been DirectX 9 with medium settings.

TW2 are rly goodlooking no doubt about it. but after playing the first game i think in all other aspect

bioware are better, the music, story telling, characters, and even gameplay and dialogue,



however time will telll

Are you suggesting that Assassins Creed 2 would be more suitible for comparison? If so then I would agree on that.

But if your stating that AC2 is a better looking game than what we have seen from the latest DA2 screenshots, I would have do dissagree with you. They are pretty comparable, and I would even say that DA2 has better looking characters.

for me

visually super hot = looks great visually

graphic marvel = ground breaking graphics

perhaps a little similar if you think that way, but you can clearly tell which is better

and maybe visually super hot is and overstatement, but i personally don't think that they thought they were gonna win any awards with the graphics ( which i still like regardless )

The thread title is right, though. Content is what wins through in the end and Bioware never disappoint on that front, despite most of the forum fans apparently forgetting this fact in the run up to each new title release.
