You're not, my enhanced edition is sitting on my shelf and I haven't played past about 3 hours. I just found the gameplay boring, the animations (like walking) silly, the dialogue/voice acting awkward, the story bland and the sex cards downright silly. The character's drew zero emotion from me, to be honest, I could careless about Triss, Gerald and the rest of the witchers. When Leo died I was thinking "What an idiot".

its not a claim about anything its a simple true statement that doesn't require playing a game that hasen't been released yet to understand.

The Witcher's NPCs had no facial expressions. DA:O was miles better because NPCs were portrayed as the authors intended. It's hard to have sympathy for Leo in TW when he has a BIG BULGE coming out of his pants and when he displays no emotion through voice or expression and looks like he's not a human.

Other NPCs look like demons who I'm most certainly not going to show sympathy to...same goes for TW2...thanks but I'll stick with DA. All the NPCs in TW looks like stupid freaks who you just want to eat. Play it and see what I mean. They look like food.

Howewer, I'm not angry. She's already post another time this screenshot in this thread, and this thread isn't about how good or bad DA2 graphic is, but about the importance of graphics and other content in the game.

I know you are not angry. I just gave pro tip for fun.

By the way your interpretation of peeps was brilliant. I take it you interpret it from peep hole xD And peeps commonly mean people.

Baldur's Gate II is still my favourite game of all time. I wouldn't say that graphics mean nothing to me, but I don't need cutting edge graphics to thoroughly enjoy a game. As long as the graphics provide a good, suitable atmosphere and do not to detract from the story I am experiencing, I do not care in the least. Story is what matters to me. Everything else is secondary.

Anyway, I think graphics has its part of importance in a videogame, as well as the art style, the story, the character, the gameplay.

I think that DA2 graphics is good enough to be enjoynable for me. And I'm fine with the art style overall. So it will not be a problem for me to play DA2, if the story and characters are well made.

That image is not from an 'old game build'. It is from a post made by a dev on the Bioware blog, days ago, talking about the lighting in DA2.

Note: The game has gone gold.

And why Dragon Age 2 have real time day and night cycles.  The Witcher 1 came out in 2007 and it had real time day and night cycle.  The Witcher 2 day and night cycle is amazing.

In Dragon Age 2 you have to toggle the day and night cycle through the map.  In this day and age, not incluing real time day and night cycle is just lazy.

You obviously didn't sign up to troll the forum and bash the game.

Oh well. Probably in the future they'll upgrade it to faster, more dynamic forums, with jumping and kicking animations.

While there's always room for improvement, I'll just be sticking with what Bioware has given us. Gameplay and story beat graphics any day of the week. Be glad with what we have folks!

TW2 is (atleast for the moment) PC exclusive. It is not fair to compare TW2's graphics with those of DA2, when DA2 was designed from the ground-up to accomodate all 3 platforms.

It just means that's probably what we'll be seeing in-game. That's the real deal, the final version. If people can't handle it, now's the time to start running.

Or you could wait until the demo comes out. I guess that works too.

I didn't like it either -- the main character annoyed me, the combat was garbage, and the setting didn't pull me in. Which is probably why I have no interest in TW2, despite it's pretty graphics.

wasnt the first quote about books typed in response to someone saying that they dont care about graphics that much??? it seems ridiculous to have that as a response when they didnt say they didnt care about graphics at all...

and if all people care about is graphics then they should watch avatar.....
