i think it would be great if helms could be toggled off in areas where there is 0 combat

I'm going to bump this thread.
A toggle function like mass effect should have been included out-of-the-box. With my mage, and with Wynne/Morrigan, I can't stand ALL of the silly mage helmets. Are there any later on that look good, like crowns from NWN2? So far, I haven't seen any. I'm just tired of looking at my character running around with what looks like a paper bag over his head!
. I wound up not wearing anything at all, which isn't something you should be forced to do in any game.
