I've added -enabledeveloperconsole and set which key I wanted to use in the Settings. Yet, nothing works. I made sure there was a space in the Target field. Still doesn't work. I tried Compatibility with Windows XP Service Pack 2 and it still doesn't work.
I'm having the same problem as these people from this place www.gamefaqs.com/pc/920668-dragon-age-origins/answers. If you'll note what this guy said, "I can't get the console to open up, I followed all the directions and I made the key to open it in the game one that is not currently used. Any ideas? when i try to type it just opens up all the menus that would normally appear if you were to hit their hotkey."
Since I can't post screenshots directly to these forums, I'll just that the shortcut I made is called "E:\\autorun.exe" and not daorigins.exe, and when I use compatibility and pull up the menu, there's like two buttons and one of them is "Install", but there's no play button. So, I have to turn off compatibility if I want to play. Also, there's no bin_ship folder. I can play the game just fine though.
Anyways, thanks for any help anyone is able to provide. I really want to add money so I can pay off these people who want dozens of sovereigns for their services. I also have this annoying hair braid I want to get rid of too. I swear I don't remember picking that hairstyle, but it's driving me crazy.
