Hey folks,
So I'm not sure if anyone even remembers (Return to) Evereska or Castle Durgalbane of NWN1 fame, but yeah... I'm looking for a similar local vault under the RP or social server lists. Unfortunately, I failed to find any on my first look-through, but I DID just recently buy the game and just now started getting into the game. Long-time fan of NWN here, as you can tell -- I DMed and staffed EV/DB for YEARS until real life claimed ol' Thunderbolt and killed any chance of us producing a NWN2 LV.

The thing about RTE/CDB is that it was less about levelling and being great in PvE or PvP so much as it was about actively, reactively, proactively roleplaying to your heart's content but it was also balanced, not to mention highly populated (40-60 players on at prime time) and Thunderbolt's scripts were, for lack of a better word, "pro." I'm looking for that same heavy RP atmosphere in a server that I can call home.

Failing all this (as I must have blatantly missed some in the list if there are any, so I doubt there are D: ...), are there any a. good medium-heavy RP server vaults similar to Evereska/Durgalbane that I might enjoy or b. any plans to launch a local vault in the near-ish future?

I don't know of any RP servers that permit local vault. That's because doing so would be an avenue for exploits. There are quite a few servers that promote themselves as either medium or heavy RP servers. Check out the descriptions of each PW in the index.

If you think there's a big enough demand for something like this, pull a team together and get something started.

In my experience however, what cipher has told you is accurate for both games.

Reviving a 2 year old thread, but considering that I was a heavy player on Local Vaults back on NWN1 (I created Durgalbane, helped Evereska and was part of the group that spawned from Anhel'jai) are there any such servers around to RP in?
