I think the second Miranda is prettier (and not "unreleastically" pretty - pretty women DO exist, guys, and should be represented).



However I did always like that Miranda looks sexy rather than model gorgeous. I think it added to her character.

Actually, if I had to simply choose between the two pictures, I might actually agree with you OP (I'm clearly in the minority here). But as a big Yvonne fan from chuck, where she is so amazingly hot, if they change Miranda, I would fly into such an epic nerdrage, these forums would tremble.

I throw my lot in with the OP actually. I've never particularly enjoyed Miranda aesthetically. All her features are far too square, her eyes look to far apart, and her nose looks overly wide. The second Miranda looks infinitely more attractive without being unrealistically so.

I still think dark hair is bettah for Miranda. They could've probably done better job with the scanning though.

It's not a bad change. I for one would like to see the new Miranda looked when animated. That's the ticket for me. That's honestly not a bad alternative look to her.

Games are filled with idealized and generic looking hot girls.



I for one like the more distinctive and realistic looks of Bioware's female characters.



Miranda in particular was modeled to resemble the gorgeous Yvonne Strahovski who provided her voice. Although I don't think Miranda's in game face fully captures Yvonne's good looks, I'm still glad they tried to make her look like a real woman rather than a generic idealized beauty.

I don't disagree, but conversely, if there was ever a female with a reasonable in-universe justification for looking like a generic, idealised beauty... well, yes.

Yeah, as much as I hate her personality and therefore the character, her looks ain't that bad, if you can get over the baldness ( which I can't). Other than that there's nothing else wrong with her.

Actually, for Jack's character I have no problem with her being bald at all, I don't think it takes anything away. And yeah, her personality can be very grating, especially after conversation #3 with femShep.
