so far you do not know how many points you will have to dump in Stamina in order to be able to pull off all 3 (or 4) actives you are projecting now
I like your idea tho, combined with a pre-emptive AOE strike from a mage and the massacre passive, Giant's reach and the AOE nature of the warrior's attacks Hawke should be able to wade through nearly anything

Plus, if you're not going to use pause, it's hardly the ultimate guide to dominating nightmare.

This will be really depressing if you're wrong.

Some people like real time action/strategy games rather than turn based action/strategy games. I am one of those people who prefers real time games which force you to make decisions with a constraint on time. The tactics system allows you to play without pause effectively.

That's fine, but it is still less effective. You should name it the ultimate guide to dominating nightmare in real time.

That title would be too long

Dragon Age II is a real time game whether you use pause or not.
When is the last time you paused in real time?

Wait, you don't even know the specializations and you are making a guide? You do realize we will be spending skill points in those as well. I think people rather be making their own builds and making a build that is cohesive with their chosen party members.
You might also find tomes that give extra talent points. This guide is based only on the information currently available.

I'm not saying your guide is lacking because obviously neither of us know about the combat mechanics yet or how difficult Nightmare is gonna be, but if you were to make it work you'll spend a lot of time in combat.

It's too early to judge but I doubt in Nightmare you can depend on a 2 Handed Warrior alone as the main damage dealer... you're basically having too many support roles, when I play on Nightmare I'm always going with a warrior, a rogue and 2 mages party... Warrior will be a tank, rogue will be main damage dealer, one mage will be AOE Damage/CC and the other Healer/debuffs...

The support can DPS also. The guide will be changed drastically when the game comes out and I learn more, its based on speculation.
