I'm curious, does Cryo's effect on targets (increased damage boost) also boost the force they recieve from attacks like Throw and Slam the same as if they've been ragdolled with Pull? Trying a Cryo/Throw Sentinel combo and not getting anything from it or at least not the results I was hoping for.
Any advice?
As far as I'm aware the only effect it will have is that they'll take more physics damage (i.e. getting smashed into stuff) due to the damage multiplier inherent in the freeze mechanic. The Cryo effect doesn't alter the mass of a target so there's no reason why incoming force should be boosted.

Before investing in heavy throw I'd give the combo a try with throw at lower levels and then decide if you need it.
On a side note if you take slam as a bonus power it seems to pretty much guarantee that a frozen enemy will shatter even if you only put a single point in it.

Cryo does not synergize well with biotics because enemies are immune to physics effects during their freeze animation. I hope they fix this in ME2.
From everything I've seen this holds true.
As much as I love cryo ammo, I will admit trying to use warp bombs or pull fields can be quite annoying with cryo.
Instead of floating around like a snowflake, cryo enemies seem to fall like an avalanche negating biotics.
Honestly, if you want to be a biotic heavy character(or use 2 biotic squadmates), I dont recommend cryo, despite being a great ammo power, it really kills your biotic gameplay.
Edit add: I would also say this is why you'll see many Vanguard builds that dont invest into shockwave/pull at all, as Cryo tends to work a bit better with a charge heavy Vanguard than pull does... not to mention it allows you to instead max out the bonus power. Definitely agree with ScroguBlitzen that it needs to be fixed for ME3 (if not ME2 sometime?)

So Cryo + Biotics is not very good combo in the end.

If the timming is not perfect, the freezing process during the fall make the target getting no physic dammage at all and slow the fall on the ground.

Cause I've found cryo blast works very nicely in combo with something like throw, slam, or concussive blast provided you wait a second for them to freeze before you hit them again.

Indeed, I saw it happen a few times in my sentinel playthrough, identical to what happens in the sentinel total control video on youtube. I think it's a bug though, as it tends to fail more often than it works. Add to how much it screws up warp bombs and I began to despise it.

Sometimes it would work great, they'd freeze I'd hit them with a follow up and they'd shatter; but sometimes they'd drop on their side behind cover as soon as they froze or I'd hit them and they'd fly for a mile and then bounce harmlessly back down to the ground.
