So any criticism thrown at any particular subject is so black and white that the person who does the criticizing is essentially saying "well this change will RUIN the game and make it suck." Rather than "well i think this change sucks, and people would probably prefer it be different, but overall it might not make the game suck, but it won't be the cause of any endearment?"

You, and people like you, are toolboxes. Not only toolboxes, but idiots as well. Not everyone who is criticizing DA2 says the game will suck. Quite a few however have expressed chagrin over some changes just like with ME2. And just like ME2 i'm sure DA2 gets super awesomely good blah ****ing blah metascore, the detractions people had at this stage could very well prove to be valid just like they did in ME2.

Perhaps you should be a little less assholish in your approach, or maybe you should just get a ****ing clue.

Said the pot to the kettle.

No, you are most certainly not. We are definitely in the minority, however.

I too am in this category.  I loved ME1 but ME2 didn't keep my attention for long.  I played it because I own it, but ME1 was much better for me.

What the hell was that for.  I'd say a comment that wasn't called for.

I've play only Mass Effect 2. It's a great interactive cinematic third person shooter. Shepard is a great actor. But paragon/renegade things isn't my choices to make any decision. Despite my best to shape my personality within Shepard, I've come to realize that he already has his own personality. He is a different person with different way to interpret the paraphrase words. This completely throw me out of the game. And I don't appreciate it. Without support from toolset, there is no way for me to negate the effect. Therefore, I bid Bioware good luck with Mass Effect series. I wish it would be my favorite game just like DAO but I can't. I will never become a different person in my own RPG game.

Farewell Commander Shepard and Normandy crews.

Let me tell you something.

Every game Bioware has ever made is the worst game Bioware has ever made and will never be as good as "Insert name of product made earlier here"

Okay, full disclosure, I've never played Jade Empire. Only BioWare RPG I don't own. But KotOR? KotOR's story was bland, and that's being generous. NWN2 and KotOR2 blow their precedents out of the water on the plot front. Yes, I know that KotOR2 had plenty of other flaws, but a poor story was NOT one of them.

KotOR 2 was  a great game, but I prefer KotOR.
Agree to disagree?

Gameplaywise, I prefer KoTOR 2, Storywise, I prefer KoTOR.  I would prefer KoTOR2 more but it wasn't finished and that hurt the story more in my opinion.

If anything, I think all the naysayers are just worried about nothing.  Sure some people will be disappointed but I think the overall majority will enjoy it.

Naysayers for Mass Effect 2 were correct, there doubts in combat streamlining, weak armor customization, etc. were correct.

You posted ME2 won GotY award to disprove above statement.

I refuted with factual (and simplified) evidence regarding armor customization is weak in ME2, again confirming naysayers predictions.

Get it?

well armor customization for DAII isn't a problem, so far. Sure it sucked in mass effect 2 but that isn't a reason to say it's worst then mass effect 1

And yet ME2 was still considered a better game then ME1.

ME1 Metacritic aggregate score: 91 www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-360/mass-effect

ME2 Metacritic aggregate score: 96 www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-360/mass-effect-2

So the "worriers" were in the wrong.

Same amount of complaining, trolling, and heated disagreements between everyone on the ME2 forums. *shrug* I've learned to expect that with each new game.

I felt the armor customization was handled better than in ME1. It let you not only change the color, but also choose individual parts to swap out. Whereas is ME1, when you just found armor a slapped the one with the highest stats on. The combat, IMO, was also more fluid than in ME1. I can't even bring myself to play ME1 anymore because of the lameness of the combat.

Whatever the naysayers have to say about 'lack of customization and streamlining combat', doesn't change the fact that ME2 is often regarded as the best game of 2010.

And lets not turn this into a ME1 vs ME2 debate here.

Um.. He linked a couple of metacritic scores.. So what? I disagree with him saying that Mass Effect 2 was better than Mass Effect because it got a slightly higher score. But I'm not jumping down the guys throat because of it.

Was it because he insinuated that you were "wrong" for being a worrier or some ****?

The point is not whether ME2 won the award or not, the point is that the naysayers were correct in there predictions. No one brought up whether ME2 won the award or not, so why bring it up?
