to make it clear: a dog is used to humans. their instincts are trained to subordinate which took hundreds of years. now if you take a pure wolf breed the animal's genes are "wild". you can't adapt a wolf to human society but YOU AS A PERSON CAN ADAPT YOURSELF TO THE WOLF PACK! period.
now read clearly and try to understand the topic. a dog is born into the human society whereas a wolf never will adapt this behaviour. that's the difference between a pet in your house and a wild animal where you as the keeper imitate the alpha wolf constantly.
now if you think after reading some dumb internet articles will transform you into the first human being on earth who trains a wolf to sit down at command - go for it
ps: pls stop posting pictures of dogs which are clearly no pure breeds! you can't even recognize a wolf...

Reading comprehension is a beautiful thing when it exists.....downloads are irrelevant. One person could download it and pass it around on disk and if a million people installed it from that disk and logged in with their EA account it's would count as " 1 million downloads.
what are you going on about? downloads are relevent at the present time since who ever is downloading the demo at this moment sure as hell isn't registering it with EA. I already made it clear how to make downloads count, by logging in. I didn't mean count as in "1 download, 2 downloads, 3 downloads, 4 downloads, 5 ....etc" I meant count as in make it count. poor chose of words, maybe. If only you used this reading comprehension you speak of to put 1 and 1 together

You have no idea what you're frothing about. Do you want the phone number to the wolf sanctuary in New Mexico, where You TOO can adopt a domesticated wolf and take it home with you? They'll be glad to answer all your questions, explode all your common myths, etc.-Semper- wrote...

So, what you're saying is (and tell me if I'm wrong) if someone "domesticates" a wolf, then it's no longer a wolf by virtue of it having been domesticated? So, you're always right, no matter what. Someone proves you can domesticate a wolf, you get to say that, actually, it's not a wolf, because a wolf cannot, by definition, be domesticated?
What is this I don't even? (is that a meme or just a stock phrase? i've seen it a bajillion times the past few days)

People will still have to play through it with their EA account to get the bonus Hayden's Razor. No one's going to create an account just to play a demo and get a bonus they'd never use, which the alleged demo allegedly doesn't make you do. Allegedly it takes about 15 minutes to get through If someone played through this alleged demo, they'd still play through it again to get the bonus. Allegedly (props to Kathy Griffin) No 'downloads' are lost.
This isn't rocket surgery . One million was already an easy goal.

Evolutions always goes against norms. By definition.
Bacterial colonies often evolve to be drug resistant without anything going against the norm. I suppose you could say that any mutation is against the norm but I'd suggest that a small but consistent amount of genetic variation is the norm.
You are debating this idea based on your ethics.
I'm not sure where you're getting that from.Um, okay.Nothing in the universe will testify against drugs or mutations.
I have no idea how this is a response to what I said.Life is scary to deal with without some kind of faith, that's quite true, for me too.
I also have no idea how genetic stuff is related to a leaked DA2 German demo. To be more specific, how is the downloading of a demo against the human's evolution case? Just have a look at art's history through the eons. Take a look also at the democratic principles we believe on, and tell me where does it tell that someone can earn billions and someone else earn 40k a year? Everyone will believe in a certain system, just don't expect everyone to believe in yours.

seems like you can't understand the pages you linked by yourself. it says: Adoptable Wolf-dogs! you know the difference, do you?!

This is like three completely unrelated trains of thought smushed together for the sake of... what? It's the Human Centipede of board posts. Downloading of the demo/evolution, check. But then you move to art history, and then to democracy, and then to a comparison of people's net earnings?
How is that supposed to make sense?

Because he can? Because contrary to what you've all been fed in books and movies, Wolves can be conditioned from birth and domesticated. My cousin owns one. it sleeps inside, and spends its days out in a rather small, half acre Yard. It eats what its owner feeds it, it is people friendly, and immensly playful.PTPR wrote...

So the whole difference is semantic and immaterial. Because I guarantee that, regardless of motive or connotation, the dog's master and the dude who 'transforms himself into the alpha wolf" both behave exactly the same. Except maybe if it were you, but it seems like you might start mounting the females, so I don't think that you're statistically relevant.

that's because it's no pure breed! it's an interracial creature between a domesticated dog and perhaps a wolf in third generation... it just LOOKS like a wolf without being one. god damn, speak with the people who own a yard with wild wolfs -.-
