Reading comprehension is a beautiful thing when it exists.....downloads are irrelevant.  One person could download it and pass it around on disk and if a million people installed it from that disk and logged in with their EA account it's would count as " 1 million downloads.

what are you going on about? downloads are relevent at the present time since who ever is downloading the demo at this moment sure as hell isn't registering it with EA. I already made it clear how to make downloads count, by logging in. I didn't mean count as in "1 download, 2 downloads, 3 downloads, 4 downloads, 5 ....etc" I meant count as in make it count. poor chose of words, maybe. If only you used this reading comprehension you speak of to put 1 and 1 together

Sure if people have an EA account but if they don't or they are just simply trying the demo out just to see how it is but don't plan on getting DA2 why would they bother with creating a EA log in or even logging in.

Because he can?  Because contrary to what you've all been fed in books and movies, Wolves can be conditioned from birth  and domesticated.  My cousin owns one.   it sleeps inside, and spends its days out in a rather small, half acre Yard.  It eats what its owner feeds it,  it is   people friendly, and immensly playful.

Sure, if you train it from birth, absolutely the wolf makes a wonderful pet.

But they aren't quite the same as dogs. They think a little differently, and it does need to be accounted for (my cousins are ranchers, they took in a wolf for a while, it was hard work).

Wow... please calm down. I have no problem with keeping wild animals. I know people that keep wild animals. They treat them like wild animals.

I'm calm. I'm just saying that words have different meanings. You can argue that a wolf isn't domesticated all you want, but there's a very real definition of domesticated right there that says a wolf totally can. Any given usage of a word doesn't negate all the others.

So the whole difference is semantic and immaterial. Because I guarantee that, regardless of motive or connotation, the dog's master and the dude who 'transforms himself into the alpha wolf" both behave exactly the same

no! the difference between a domesticated dog and a wolf are the programmed genes. a dog will accept you as the leader the whole lifetime - a wolf will constantly fight you for this position to become the new leader. you can't kill this instinct no matter how hard you try. YOU WOULD BE THE FIRST PERSON ON EARTH!

the whole logic and secrecy behind.

If you comb through the pages and see how it happened, it's pretty entertaining.

Wild animals are dangerous to keep as pets. Ask anyone who owns a sanctuary. I have seen many get hurt from people believing that they could take care of one.

Wolves can never be treated as pets. They think completely different than dogs do. Wolves can never be accustomed to life in a backyard.

And it's cruel to try. If you're that desperate for a 'wolfy' pet, get a German Shepard.

I also have no idea how genetic stuff is related to a leaked DA2 German demo. To be more specific, how is the downloading of a demo against the human's evolution case? Just have a look at art's history through the eons. Take a look also at the democratic principles we believe on, and tell me where does it tell that someone can earn billions and someone else earn 40k a year? Everyone will believe in a certain system, just don't expect everyone to believe in yours.

This is like three completely unrelated trains of thought smushed together for the sake of... what? It's the Human Centipede of board posts. Downloading of the demo/evolution, check. But then you move to art history, and then to democracy, and then to a comparison of people's net earnings?

How is that supposed to make sense?

It's a very entertaining little trainwreck isn't it?  I can't help but get onboard *Toot toot!*  All aboard!

It's all about "don't be afraid to do things your way". If you like everything to be served in your plate though, hold on and things will be fine for you too.

I would say that all threads start on topic, though I suppose that is debatable.  This one was certainly derailed at the first response though!

So hmm speaking of wolves my dog ate a cooked pork bone, inducing vomiting on a 130lb dog is fun!  And not much of it came up.  Hope everything uhhh passes smoothly can't really afford a vet bill now.

What's going on with everyone else?

Okay, I don't care about leaked demos but seriously, wolves can not be trained. You can train hyenas though.

Fun fact for the day kids.

then why do i have a pet wolf?

I do not know, why?

Because he can?  Because contrary to what you've all been fed in books and movies, Wolves can be conditioned from birth  and domesticated.  My cousin owns one.   it sleeps inside, and spends its days out in a rather small, half acre Yard.  It eats what its owner feeds it,  it is   people friendly, and immensly playful.

that's because it's no pure breed! it's an interracial creature between a domesticated dog and perhaps a wolf in third generation...

No, that would be a Wolf Dog.

My cousin doesn't  own a wolf dog.  He owns a wolf.

Stop guess-arguing now.
