I'm impressed on how this thread made it to 6 pages

Weekend, most of the bioware crew is off. People tend to make the most of it.

Damn you all for making me think of those beautiful dogs! Wolf-dogs whatever the hell they are!

I've always wanted one of those as well. Either a Husky or a Corgie named Ein.^_^

They're so cute.

I haven't thought of a name though.

People are discussing demos, piracy, evolution, whether it's possible to domesticate wolves or not, and dog breeds... best thread ever?

Yes, either that or everyone is getting bored of waiting for the game to come out.

Domesticate - to accustom to household life or affairs

Source - the frakking DICTIONARY

The term domesticate also has a far more rigorous definition than that. There's domesticate in the sense of 'tame' and then there's domesticate in the sense of altering an animal's behavior, physiology, and/or life cycle to accustom them to human use and control.

And yes, that takes generations.

You missed my point. I has a sad. There are different meanings for the word "domesticate." A given definition doesn't invalidate the others.

Gravy as a euphemism? Naughty. :P

Funny how that's worse than kittens mashed up into edible gravy though. (actually how does gravy get made, anyway?)

I also have no idea how genetic stuff is related to a leaked DA2 German demo.

Someone said piracy is bad. You said evolution is always against the norms. I pointed out that this isn't always the case.

To be more specific, how is the downloading of a demo against the human's evolution case?

You're the one who suggested that piracy had something to do with evolution. I think it's a ridiculous suggestion myself, so I ignored it and focused on the part of your post I found interesting.

Just have a look at art's history through the eons. Take a look also at the democratic principles we believe on, and tell me where does it tell that someone can earn billions and someone else earn 40k a year? Everyone will believe in a certain system, just don't expect everyone to believe in yours.

You seem to think evolution has something to do with art, social movements, and political systems. It only does in the sense that these things exist because the human brain evolved in a certain way.

You're also conflating evolution with what you perceive as progress. Evolution is adaptive but that adaptation typically comes with drawbacks as well as advantages. Take humanity's ability to walk upright. There are obvious benefits to it, but the changes in the shape of hip bones make labor both more painful and increase the chances of medical complications.

These forums really need more of that, to be honest.

edit: delete and ban anyone who posts a "relationship" thread on the forums, watch as the quality of posts increases exponentially

Why stop at the relationship threads, lets delete everything and everyone! That'll clean these forums up for sure.
