This must be a pretty noobish mistake, but I can't start the Toolset, it says something like "Cannot connect to database"

It's actually a pretty common problem. There's even an entire wiki entry on it, but it could help if you mentioned which exact OS you're on and whether you're an admin user.

Vista
I'm the admin user

if you need any more details just ask, also I've also been looking at the wiki but what would rather ask my peers.

I understand, but the reasons could be a lot of things, so it might help to mention what you've tried, post logs etc.

I haven't tried anything, simply installed it.

From the wiki entry: "If the database does not respond, it simply returns this error. The toolset has no ability to diagnose why"

To get help on it, you'll probably first have to try some stuff yourself, as mentioned on that wiki page. At least mentioning if none of it worked, if you're having trouble with any particular part of it, etc. People could prod you with questions all day, but that's not going to be very effective.

I can't get the toolset to work, every time I try to start it, It says that the toolset needs to be configured, so I tried to configure, when I am done with that I try to open the toolset again and get the same message. My OS is Windows XP Profession SP3. I even tried Unistalling and then reintalling again, but still nothing. Anyone Have any Ideas as to what I may be doing wrong or how to fix this problem.
