Awakening character won't import into Witch Hunt or Golems

The game keeps freezing up when I try to import my DA: awakening character into either witch hunt or Golem. When I go to import character it shows me the character from origins and a character from awakening as if they were two separate characters!

The origins character at level 20 loads up in the side display(left) with the stats up(right)
the awakening character stats load up but the display NEVER loads and freezes when I press A to select.

I have tried to select a more advanced save and it still freezes up.

Please someone with any insight!:crying:

Hm...had a search around and though the problem has been mentioned I don't see anyone having any solutions as such. At this moment all I can suggest is reload to see if the problem is random or very specific to that character. If it's specific it could be that the save is corrupted.



And the game seeing the character as separate characters in Origins and Awakening is not a bug of any sort; it's just the way it works.

oh, ok. I tried deleting the saves of one of the characters from the dashboard in the memory, but it didn't have any effect. I feel super cheated because I bought both the witch hunt and the golem DLC RIGHT after I completed Awakening. I also tried re-downloading the content, still freezes up.



To clarify, it IS possible to import into witch hunt from Awakening right?

I'd assume so, yes. Though I typically import from Awakening to Golems then Witch Hunt myself. Let me fire up my 360 and I'll see if anything prevents me from skipping Golems.

EDIT: right, just fired up me 360. Personally I had no trouble in importing an Awakening character into Witch Hunt; so I don't believe it's a game issue as such.

As I understand it, once a save is corrupted it affects the saves for that character, at least that's what I've read on the forums.

So it's probably the actual character that is corrupted...... 20 hrs of game play down the toilet. -_-

Thanks for responding and offering support, I guess I'll be playing through it again.



Edit: I actually just went to the dashboard and began deleting the saves, I left one save earlier on in the story and it worked! I imported the save into witch hunt. So I havn't completed awakening in this save/import and have begun the witch hunt dlc.

If that makes any sense or clarification on resovling this...idk... but it worked.:o
