mass effect: zakera ward stories, featuring thane when he was an assassin working at the citadel ten years before ME2. basically it should be a GTA style game on zakera ward

Loved the Mass Effect series so far - though still waiting to play ME3 (hurry up mr. postman).
Okay, anyone remember Elite? Elite II - Frontier? I'm going back a bit now...
We need a ship-based game in the Mass Effect world - one where the main customisable RPG element is the ship itself! How about a choice of 50 ship models, with major modification options (engines, weaponry, cargo, life support etc.) which have a big visual impact on the ship exterior - that way we can all get something close to a 'unique' ship. Add markings, insignias, colours etc., and you're away. Dogfights, recon missions, puzzles, ground based missions etc., gotta be worth thinking about.
Now I loved Elite II, but the reality was that the graphics were limited (though good for the time) and the story line was not strong. Bioware could do something amazing with this - a proper plot, off-ship missions, all set in the rich universe they've already created - ships / technology from each alien species could become available. But don't unlock "better' ships as the game progresses - give us a wide choice of 'compromises' which we have to live with, so the idea is to play the game trough with one ship, or maybe have limited opportunities to change - maybe playing the game through would mean one ship change, for example.
Just figure it would be a nice change to a shooter, would give us a different "view / experience" of the same mass effect world, and can't help but feel if Elite II was such a memorable game, what could Bioware achieve in the ME setting. It's a big universe, let's explore it more!!! Could be great.

Personally, I would love for a Mass Effect game to be based around the time of the Krogan rebellions.
With the main character being a Turian, and yes, my avatar disagrees with me. It pains me to say this, but I think having the game centred around a Turian would allow for more opportunities to make a longer and more interesting story.
