Look at the obvious anatomical differences. Standard armor my ass.

You can especially tell the differences in the feet. As we all know, women have a 6" claw on the end of their foot, whereas men have 5 toes.

:D

Feminine armor.

That's not "feminine" armour. That's standard High Gothic armour.

Looks womenly to me. Remember that we still make armor for artistic and theatrical reasons.Posted Image

edit: oh and I prefer femhawke.

What are you talking about. No man has that body shape. You would have a VERY hard time fitting the average male into armor like that. Feminine waist, feminine hips. You can't be serious. Compare that to male armor.

There is no "male" and "female" armour from that period. The Knights were men, not women. They did not make "male" and "female" versions. Just the standard one.

And the picture you just linked has quite a wide midsection, but is standing at an angle.

I was thinking the same and because of that wondered if the "female" armour is some sort very rare speciality or curiosity.

Women where prostitutes in armies (historical fact) in medieval age.

Could be a Modern "What if" type armor.

I didn't know the hairstyles will randomly change as well, very interesting. Most notable is Carver's mullet, and the fact that Mama Hawke doesn't even look old with that combination of skin tone and hairstyle. (how she is the mother of these three characters is beyond me.) :P

Yeah, maybe she went gray early like Anderson Cooper?

There is some discussion of the armour:

Appears it is a replica of armour of Archduke Sigmund of Tyrol. Maybe.

A male armour after all, maybe.

I'm definitely going to have to try each pre-set face before I play the game... And THEN try to make Hawke look good using the one that has the best family.

For some reason, Mama Hawke looks more like "The eldest sister" rather than a mother. She needs more than the typical gray hair to show her age.

Armors were custom made, so maybe he had broad hips and small shoulders or something.

I'll just casually drop in here that my mother is 55 and looks 35-40. I'm 21 and look 25. Depending on who you ask, we look like we *could* be sisters, given a wide gap. Powerful conservation genes exist in RL, why not in a game?

Oh, and yes, I would totally tap all three of them.

I'm 24 -- I've been mistaken for under-18 (embarrassingly enough by a waitress who wanted to seat me and my friend in the bar area, but looked at my friend and in front of me asked "she's over 18, right????" haha). granted mama hawke is probably in her fifties so the comparison of people looking younger than their actual age is not too ideal...

Well the good news, when you are 42 you will look like 50. Oh wait, that was the bad news.

BioWare has created the first game where, upon seeing an image of the PC, the PC's mother, and the PC's sister, I thought, "I'd tap that."

I guess these Amell women just have great genes.

Wow I would not know who is the momma if I would not have meta information.

In other words, looks like three sisters.

That's exactly what I thought when I saw this picture. I'm sure some modder will change Mama Hawk's hair to black, matching Hawkette's colour. Then it won't be possible to say which of trio is the elder one. They are all gorgeous - but if I have to choose then Bethany is the ugly one :P

Kudos to Bioware for making them so similar!

And I agree, Mama Hawke's first name is definitly Nicole :D

I'm so going to play default Hawkette now.

As for Carver - Mama Hawke had a one night stand with a vagrant when Papa Hawke was running away from Templars. That's why in comparison with the Amell girls Carver looks like a total stranger.

Oh and Hawkett's armour is perfect!

Lol Betty just have "bad hair day". I am sure you know how she have hair for stylists to do wonders.

I have to agree with you man, the hips on that armor were tailor made for a woman's hips. Mr. Archduke must have had a laughable appearance in his armor. (The other Knights alway had a good chuckle when he rode onto the battlefield) :P
