Guess part of the art change was to make all women hot. I approve.

Seconded.

I don't really get the point but I second too since if I ask "is it realistical" the answer is "lol".

Yes, 'cos armour helped King Cailen so much. Squish!

I think you would not think so if you had sister in real.

I have a sister in real. But, you know, the Hawke's are not my real family.

You have interesting sig by the way. I wonder can you live up to its premises. We have in Finland this saying "sanasta miestä, sarvesta härkää".

I fear I don't speak finlandish(finnish?). I made my sig after many months on this forum which made me realize how painful it is to argue with some people. Usually I like discussions but not if your opposite is actually more interested in preaching.

wouldn't she be uncomfortable in those plates?

they should curve the plates to house her 2 megaballoons....

Its not unrealistic. As someone already explained. Having "breast plates" would make the armor weaker than normal flat plated one. Besides wearing metal armor isnt exactly comfortable to begin with.

Not totally so, most of what I know about armor is Asian mainly so I can't really comment much on European Armor, but you can make "Breast plates" Over at a forum ran by the Mandalorian Mercs a number of women wanted more figure fitting armor. And a number of them have made breast fitting armor. Looks sorta like what you see in DA:O. I my self being a Fett Fan tried to make my own armor, but I kept screwing up on the helmet and gave up. But yeah plenty of Fems and men have made metal armor over there, now protection wise, maybe I can talk one into letting me shoot an arrow into them....

You never know the ahh... "curves" might allow for deflection like a T-34 tank, but its not a pratical means of armor making imo.

Ok. I don't try to translate that saying because it is very difficult to translate without maybe writing a paragraph of text lol.

Edit: For me that is. Some pro language dude might easily translate it with few words.

It doesn't make any sense in Finnish.

Anyhow, I'm wondering if Mama Hawke looks so young because of the lower graphics? At least in DA:O the wrinkled complexions looked less wrinkly with medium/low settings.

I guess these Amell women just have great genes.

They look great, but am I the only one who gets the impression of the opening credits to some glamorous soap opera?

It means when a man makes a claim or a statement, he should go to any lengths to prove it or live up to it, even grab a bull by its horns.

I couldn't say that I agree with this saying though. If a man makes a statement he should stand by it. But defend it to any lengths seems silly, since if you say something because you know it is right, why defend it? If people don't believe you it is their denial of the truth, and not your problem.

It is a proverb generally used for promises. I could go into the semantics and pragmatics of it, but this is the wrong topic.

(Bad answer since I saw from your sig where you possibly live. So you either know very well Finnish or you had a friend who know and explained it. And I would not say it is unfortunate - unless you hate to live in Estonia or you hate Finland or you have some strange grudges about your or mine languages. In that case I feel sorry for you.

I met a very nice Estonian woman last summer in Lapland, a hitchiker, and offered her a bed and stuff she gratefully accepted and we had very good discussions about languages, politics, Estonia, Russia, Finland, life, and travelling. All in English since we were unable to communicate in Finnish language.)

Back on TOPIC! Only two days for the demo. Or one. Or when it is released? Will pixel peep plenty of stuff!

Point. Also, sometimes, people aren't willing to listen to reasoned argument, so sticking around to defend your position to any lengths just means you're stuck there, arguing the same thing, to no result.

Vis the sig, I'm fond of "I disagree with what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it."
Not that brave myself, but...

You don't defend it. You just live up to your words.

Edit: And the saying can also be used as challenge when someone says something.
