Oh, that poor Carver with his muscular physique, perfect hair and handsome face. I bet he must cry himself to sleep every night because he's just so damn perfect.
He even rocks the blood-on-face look much better than his siblings ever could.
People need to stop picking on poor Carver, he's fantastic.
True, true. In that pic he reminds me of Ossomer from Erfworld, which himself is inspired by superman... I guess you could find worse comparisons.

Wow, if I ever hear another condescending comment about the immaturity and intelligence of the CoD audience, I'll know what thread to dig up to show as proof that the "RPG crowd" has more than it's fair share of undesirables as well.
But this is self-aware immaturity. Big difference
And yes, that picture of Carver was quite nice. But I can't get Tenso out of my head. Sorry

BioWare has created the first game where, upon seeing an image of the PC, the PC's mother, and the PC's sister, I thought, "I'd tap that."
I guess these Amell women just have great genes.
That red thingy on Hawke's face...where did it go and what did or does it do?
She actually looks good now.

Not true. Some people just age well. Theresa Brewer looked the same at 60 as she did at 20.
This is literally impossible without plastic surgery.
And even then your skin will not have the same tone and elasticity as a 20-something. AND considering there is no sunscreen in Thedas, a 40-something would not look that young. Once again, not saying she needs to look like a hag, but small markers of age would have been nice and more believable.

You can choose from 2 different default Hawkes... One with the smear, one without.Drowsy0106 wrote...

Not to mention creepy. Maybe there's a picture in her attic that's not looking so spritely.

I think the more important question is....a blood stain that lasts 10 years?

Most people have only seen him wearing his default clothes from Lothering. Put him or anyone in a suit of shiny metal armor and they instantly become awesome.
Too bad you have to choose between him and Bethany.

I think this has already been implemented as part of the new gift system:
Plastic Surgery Trimings = Anders +1 Friendship.

The soap in Thedas is terribly ineffective.

I remember being bought some 'authentic' style mediaeval soap (Elizabethan washball, I believe it was marketed as). It smelled worse than BO. If that's what passes for soap in Thedas, I'll take the ten-year bloodstain.

Wow I would not know who is the momma if I would not have meta information.
In other words, looks like three sisters.
Edit: The obsession to youthness and standardized beaty has reached whole new level.

Really? It's a medieval-style setting. Hygiene is bloody brilliant with that in mind.

*Snicker* Part of me would love to see them with no teeth at all and killing darkspawn with a Bad Breath attack. Now THAT'S mediaeval hygiene.

Hmm with a top hat and a Beard he'ld look like a Former US president. And yeah the Hawke Ladies do look better than most of the NPC's I've seen. Bioware wants to turn us all into Hillbillies!

I haven't been following DA2 that much, but I assumed the smear was just a pre-battle thing that Hawke does to psyche him/herself up?
