I tried to seek a fix for this problem through different places but I failed to find any solution.

Everytime I try to install a mod, DAUpdater.exe crashes with a message 'DAConterUpdater has stopped working'. I tried deleting Manifest.xml already but that didn't fix it. Also I don't have guts to delete AddIns.xml since that contains all the information about the DLCs. Also I tried to run DAUpdater.exe in different compatibility modes but those didn't have any effect.

Do you know how to fix this crashing?

haha, nobody ever gets answers about this crashing issue, we could all solve our problems if we could install our mods manually, i'm sure this is possible, but how?

I have the same exact issue. The daupdater worked near release too. Maybe the first patch broken it.

DItto, unfortunately. I heard that, if you replace the AddIn.xml file with a "clean" or original one, it will work again, but I don't have a backup of the file, so I can't be certain. Hopefully, Bioware will patch this...

Im haveing a simlair problem but instead it says cannot find DAUpdater.xml when i try to open the folders up.... I run windows 7 by the way

Same issue and I can't install the content I purchased and downloaded from Bioware!

I am having the same issue. It worked just fine near release.

Using Windows Vista Home edition.
