I'll be stearing well clear until I can afford to buy the game myself.



Although, I knew almost everything about Dragon Age before I played since I got it this christmas, and I was still surprised by it... so I might sneak in and lurk... A little bit...

I only just came back to the forums after months of being away, little to say in general, and I wouldn't be surprised if these forums are filled with hate filled whiners like the Test Drive Unlimited 2 boards currently are.



Goes to show how spoilt people are these days when all they do is whine, complain and hate without thinking rationally and logically.

Not sure if I'll be avoiding all of the hate for DA2 when the game is released, if the game is good then I'll probably be defending it like I'm currently defending TDU2 since I find that game to be a lot of fun despite it's problems.

I'll probably be here until the game launches. Once the game is in my hot little hands, I'll lose all interest in the forums again.

I'll be taking my forum break from 8th March until after I complete it. It comes out here on 11th.

As soon as the demo comes out, I'm putting social.bioware.com in my firewall again. Mind you, every other time I've added it to my url block list, I've lasted about a week before removing it to see what people are talking about. And then god damned Joystiq spoiled the Anders reveal for me anyway, so that kind of nullified my reason for staying away

I probably should have taken my sabbatical already. I've had a few things spoiled for me I really didn't want spoiled, so I've cut back on what threads I'm even wiling to read. (Though can you believe the name of a thread spoiled something for me?) Like many others, I'll probably disappear around Tuesday.

Prob will wait until its out to take a break from the interweb in general. Only reason I'm usually on these days is AIM and to see whats new with DA2

And not experience the epic whining and crying when the demo and the game come out. Are you kidding? I mean, more Witcher 2 fans than you can shake a stick at trolling the forum 24/7, naysayers proclaiming the end of BioWare and RPGs like teh Chasind fellow at the Chantry in Lothering.



Come on, how could I want to miss out on that action!!

I'll probably be gone come Tuesday. I was dumb enough to check out the forums the night before ME2 was released and had the whole thing ruined for me by someone that was putting end-game spoilers in their thread titles. Completely my fault, but I've learned my lesson.

To be frank, the only reason I'm still here is until the demo is out. When the demo is out, I have a baaaaaad feeling in my veins, and I do not want a repeat of the ME2 forums fiasco that happened awhile back. Completely ruined the game for me then, would probably do so this time as well.



After Feb. 22nd, the forums are back on my blacklist until I finish several playthroughs of the game.

The qunari are the human descendents of dragon worships. Over the generations the dragon blood they consumed warped them physically.  The Qun was devised to help them deal with their inner rage. Hence they have horns, are naturally violent and why ogres are so damn big.

I want to read people's impressions of the demo first. After the demo comes out, Ill most likely be imposing a media blackout till the game comes out on the 8th.

I'm bailing out of here once the demo hits and won't return until I've finished my first playthrough. I've gotten enough spoiling speculation and character/event reveals already that any more will ruin the great first run through the game where you do something that seems minor and then sit there saying, "Wha?!" when some situation unexpectedly explodes. (Or some character turns on you and says horrible, hurt things that you never saw coming from them.) I love those moments of surprise.

I dunno, I may still hang around between finishing the demo and the 8th. After that though I'm gonna spend three days in a dark room listening to Iron & Wine on max volume to drown out potential spoilers.

Like others have said, once the demo drops I'm out. Some MAJOR points in ME2 were spoiled for me, which I'm still slightly bitter about. Already had more spoiled for me than I would like vis-a-vis character deaths.



While it is certainly possible to avoid threads that obviously contain spoilers, I'm more worried about the trolls posting them in deceptive thread names as was the case with ME2.
