Well in ME1 I played for 6-7 playthroughs before I finally found out that you can save Captain Kirahee on Virmire.  I'd never found the place with the Geth drones, so that always got him killed.  It wasn't until someone on the old forums told me that I realized it was possible.

In ME2 it took me quite some time to realize that you can punt Geth with the Hammerhead, or jump on top of them and kill them while they are unable to get up (something that I'd always wanted to do with the Mako, stupid firing arc).  "Mario"ing the drones on the last firewalker mission is fun as hell too.

ME1: It was only recently that I even realized that the "Listening Post" missions in the Styx Theta cluster existed. ^^;; Same with the "Dr. Michele" mission on the Citadel, as I had never gone back to visit her more than once. She gives you great prices when you need cash and have stuff to sell, after you complete her mission.

ME2: Uhh... It's been a few weeks since I've played (went back to ME1 to get my canon Shepard up to level 60 for the import bonuses), so I'll get back to you. ;)

There's a gem of a conversation on the Markets in ME 1; it's by the place where the Terra Firma party members hold their rally. Apparently, it only opens up when you have Kaidan and Ashley in your party, and only when you first visit the Citadel.

I finally realized Helena Blake has relatives at the Zhu's Hope colony on Feros.

Honestly, that made me laugh because it was genuinely unexpected when I first found it.

Finally stopped to listen to every one of those disturbing Tupari advertisements. Was a little surprised to hear that only losers drink paragade while winners drink Tupari or something to that effect.

In LotSB, on the outside of the SB ship, you walk through an engine room. There is an "Talk to Liara..." about these plates that keep moving up and down - this is pretty easy to spot since it is right in front of you.

Off to the left, however, there is another "Talk to Liara..." that is more difficult to spot.

I just discovered that... geez, 10th playthrough of LotSB?

All you have to do is pay attention to the percentage next to the name of the systems and star clusters. It tells you how much of those areas you've explored. I never finish the game until all of them say "100%."

They're talking about ME1.  It didn't have exploration percentages.

Oh, duh...lol...my bad.

Well, for what it's worth, the trick to locating the asteroids more easily is to look for the glimmer(s).

Found out Capt. Matsuo has a fair amount to say on Noveria if you speak to her during the mission.

I've played ME1 at least 8 times and this is the first time I walked up to the edge of the rail at the end of the Eden Prime mission and (surprise!) got the brief cinematic of the destruction beyond.

ME: I recently found a secret room in Saren's lab behind the room with the cells where you find Menos Avot.

ME2: I didn't know you could kill Joram Talid yourself.

I thought I was thorough with these games :(

Realizing the Citadel souvenir store uses Sim City music as their store music.

Elevator music (originally from Mass Effect) in Miranda's loyalty mission.

when does he do this?  Does he only do it when Grunt is on the team? lol.  I always recruit Garrus right after Mordin since Garrus and I are forever bros.

He has a unique conversation with Grunt. I always leave Garrus till last because the timed thing can sometimes be a pain. Only in the first game did I get him just after Mordin.

Yeah, bring Grunt and Garm questions why he's with you. After one of the replies Garm makes a little speech about
putting fear in the hearts of opponents and then he shoots a vorchas head clean off

I remember that.  I send my squadmate in now, and then when the fire stops momentarily, i hop over and turn him into pulp.

Just got to Virmire in ME1 again.

Apparently, you can ram a Colossus with the Mako, then sit on top of it. Bugger can't get up. It's fun.

I had rodeo fun with that one.

Regret for not having FRAPS then.:crying:

Nothing compared to the Thresher Ride!

I once had a Thresher Maw down to almsot no health, it vanished, I got right back in the Mako (for obvious reasons) and *BAMMM*, that biest came up directly beneath me.
My Mako was spinning in the air like crazy and I just frantically pushed buttons to get as much distance to that thing as  could (darn one-hit-ko attack) and hit the fire button for the main cannon too. Still airborne, the shot hit the Thresher Maw in its ugly face (I believe it was its face at least) and the thing died. Cue to Mako landing hard on the desert and my mouth lying flat on my table:
