Will Rogues be able to use crossbows or just bows?

Damnit BioWare, answer this question! I've been posting in way too many threads that had the same question in them and all without answer. Us crossbow-fans can not be ignored like this! /wrists

Well, considering that both Sebastien and Varric are rogues, and they wield a bow and crossbow respectively. I would say its definitely probable that rogues will be able to use both.

Do you actually have any proof for the crossbows? I've seen confirmations on bows only, sadly. I'd really like to see some actual crossbow screenshots or confirmation by a developer on this. Other than seeing Varric use it, that is.

I recall a dev saying NO CROSSBOWS cept for Varric and every1 else uses normal bows. Too lazy to find thread, but it said somethin like 'crossbows for rogues'.

I find it a really odd choice to do that though, I mean... Alright, I can understand if they felt they weren't different enough or something (And they are quite different, but perhaps they couldn't be arsed making them different enough...). But can't they at least make crossbow models and just classify them as bows? Like they're doing with those swords which are classified as daggers? Come on now..

I'm waiting... I'm waiting... They won't disappoint I'm sure...
