so I was wondering, which (lets say top 3) squads loyalty missions were your favourite in ME2?

personally, I like:

Mordin
Tali
Grunt

what about you guys? and for what reasons?

Well, due to both the possible future ramifications and the choices, Legion's mission was one of my favorites. That, and fighting Geth as an Engineer on Insanity is, in my opinion, one of the best combat scenarios in the game.



I also enjoyed Samara and Thane's Loyalty missions, due to the fact that they both branched out from the standard (yet still enjoyable) travel to hub, shoot things, defeat boss/difficult section formula by allowing for interesting character development and more liberal usage of dialog-only gameplay.



Finally, I enjoyed Tali's, due to the fact that I got to see the Migrant Fleet after it was described in the books (which I definately enjoyed), and the constant irony of dragging Legion through the crowd of Quarians. Good times.

Tali's was one of my favorites and Grunt, Thane, and Mordin's as well

Legion's was pretty fun, and the option to either rewrite or destroy the geth was awesome.



While I don't like Kasumi, her loyalty mission felt like a James Bond movie.



And the end of Garrus' mission really added closure for his character.

Tali (Really liked seeing the politics of Quarian society at work)

Legion (Is just a fascinating character in general, and the implications for the next game on your choice in the mission are awesome)

Kasumi (Little black dress.. 'nuf said. )

Thane (Seeing him accept the responsibility of his mistakes he made as a young father who also killed people for money)

Zaeed (the location was just gorgeous! And the destruction in it suits Zaeed's personality sooo well)

Tali's was awesome as you got to see the inside of the Flotilla, and plus I liked the storyline behind it more than most.



Jacob's I actually liked a lot as well as the storyline was different, and I liked the whole mystery thing... even though I still don't think I understand the whole thing.



I always thought Zaeed's was a lot of fun as well. The whole fight at the end of the complex with the fire shooting out of the ceiling is pretty awesome.



All the loyalty mission are fun in some way: Samara's and Thane's are both different, Garrus's is really awesome at the end where you confront Sidonis...



The only one I didn't really like was Miranda's, because it was about as basic as you could get. Even the area you fight in... it's just a bunch of boxes and junk like that.

I think for me it had to be Miranda's loyalty mission, I loved the end scene with Miranda and her sister. In second place Tali's loyalty mission, the treason trial has so many excellent moments depending on whether you are of a paragon or renegade persuasion.
