I was playing ME2 today, and I realized how many different builds I've played and enjoyed, many of which are deriatives of less standard builds found in the forums. Here are some of them for all of you to try and enjoy. All of these builds have been tested to a certain extent. I'll put them from order of most fun to least. Note: I don't have the firepower pack, but I've tried the Mattock on a friend's pc and I must say I'm not a fan. Other things to note: I always use the Predator pistol and Locust SMG unless otherwise noted.

'Jack of all trades' Engineer
Mechanic
Attack Drone
Area Overload
AI Hacking 3
Dominate 3
Incinerate 3
Cryo Blast 2
Assault Rifle- Geth Pulse Rifle

This Engineer can do it all. Crowd control, hacking, damage, anything is possible. All without the player ever going into the red thanks to at least one combat drone and hacked/dominated enemy out. Shields/synthetics? Overload. Organics/armor/barriers? Incinerate. Someone flanked you? Combat Drone. Etc etc etc. The best thing about this build is that it offers versatility while keeping a twist to the boring caster-ness of most well rounded classes. Squadmates with the Viper or Incisor or recommended, especially Legion and Garrus with Squad AP Ammo.

'Nemesis' Adept
Nemesis
Heavy Singularity
Heavy Warp
Heavy Throw
Tungsten Ammo
Pull 1
Sniper Rifle- Incisor/Viper

So this build is more traditional. What I normally do is lock down with Singularity, use the viper/incisor to strip protection in one shot, and then biotic it up. Very focused on taking enemies down one by one, while taking harder enemies out of the fight. This build actually uses the Icisor sniper rifle to a good extent, because one burst is great at exactly stripping away a standard enemy's defenses.

'Biotic Commando' Infiltrator

Assassin
Assassination Cloak
Improved Cryo Ammo
Squad Disruptor Ammo
Heavy Slam
Incinerate 1
Assault Rifle- Viper, Vindicator and Shuriken

Abuses the sniper slowdown time to shorten cooldowns, uses Squad DIsruptor Ammo to render enemies helpless, followed with Improved Cryo to freeze and then Slam to finish off enemies. It's not the most efficient build compared to say, the standard Widow Infiltrator, but it's definitely stylish. My one qualm with this build was the times that cryo caused slam to not trigger. But that didn't happen too often so it was all good.

'Authoritarian' Soldier

Commando
Hardened AR
Improved Cryo Ammo
Squad Disruptor Ammo
Squad Incendiary Ammo
Bonus 1
Revenant- Revenant, Viper, Eviscerator

Called the authoritarian Soldier everyone is helpless and completely at his will. Very crowd-control oriented with Improved Cryo Ammo. This is heavily inspired by Cruz1ale's soldier build so yeah. Optimize damage with squadmates, and then go around freezing everyone. Funfunfun. I never really liked soldier, but this is the most fun I have had with the class. It doesn't really matter what weapon you choose either because the Vindicator/Collector AR and Viper/Mantis work perfectly fine. I chose the Revenant because I like how it looks.

Does anyone else have any other fun builds that they would like to share? If so, do it here!

On your fourth build, soldier with improved cryo - I never saw the benefit of the improved over the squad version, even when I was using ScroguBiltzen's Cryoguard vanguard build which depends on freezing enemies. Maybe you saw something, but I usually go the other way around - squad cryo and then inferno for the soldier.

I know cryo works, but IMO improved is not any better on a practical level than the squad version.  Of course if you mod the game not to have squadmates, then you would never know.
