Will anybody actually WANT to change default LadyHawke?

I've always liked Dragon Age's character creator more than Mass Effects', I dont know why but so many females coming out of the mass effect creator are just horrid looking. Players mash makeup and crazy jaws on Shepard and they really think they've made a princess... I'll never understand them.
But default female Hawke... that's the first preset I've seen where I thought it was a real knockout, her face is just awesome.

I'm another case of "use her on another playthrough, but definitely not on my first/main playthough". Same thing for default MaleHawke. They both do look really good.
Ugh - default MaleHawke = do not like. At all. Him I'll be doing over.

I definitely don't want to spend forever in the CC either. 10-15 minutes max.TJPags wrote...

The Character Creator is like crack to me. I can't help myself. I will spend upwards of an hour creating a custom Hawke, I swear.
See, I can't ever spend that much time.
I usually just choose one of the pre-made options, and make a few changes.
But that's because I usually don't like the default faces. FemHawke's I like.
One thing is that having heard her voice now, it seems like she ought to look like that. Like I can only play one femShepard, and I don't even like seeing YouTube videos because it's weird having the same voice come out of different looking heads.

Derp. I always use the default. Few people have the talent to make something that looks better, and I certainly don't. I'll be using default Male Hawke in my playthrough.
Dragon Age Nexus and Mass Effect 2 Faces want to talk to you..
On topic, I never use the defaults as what's the fun in having access to a CC and not using it?
Fully agree. No offense to Bioware but i can't identify myself as a character if i can't shape his appearance.

True. Once I associate a voice with a face, it's hard to change. I generally refer to actors/actresses by characters they played, also.
FemHawke's voice has become associated with the default face for me. I wouldn't mind longer hair, but otherwise, she's fine.

I will. I like making custom faces. I mean, the default is nice, but I like putting a personal touche in.

She doesn't look tough enough to be a warrior or rogue, so if I play one of those as Femhawke I'll probably do a custom face.
Sometimes I like that though, it sorta falls into the "unexpected hero" route as you see this ultra beautiful woman (or man) and expect them to be a total wuss, only to find out they fight like a bleedin' Archdemon.
It holds true for my female human noble Warden Serena. Extreamly easy on the eyes yet she stomps around in massive plate and whips her greatsword across Darkspawns heads with ease. Often emasculating her love Alistair.

I may use the default on one playthrough eventually, but my first lady hawke is gonna be custom built.
I'll probably do it the other way around - start with the default, but change it up for subsequent playthroughs, especially when I know what her personality is/could be like (by an amazing coincidence, eeeevil LadyHawke looks a lot like me
I hope they give us an option for female eyebrows which is more Jennifer Connelly and less Dom Deluise...

To be fair, it doesn't take much to emasculate Alistair.Jarek_Cousland wrote...

My FemHawke will have long hair, but beyond that I'm not sure what she'll look like. I suspect, since her looks will have some bearing on Bethany's, I'll be taking that into account since I don't want to stare at a monstrosity in my siblings for 30 hours.

Anyone know if DA2 will have the Face Code's like ME2 so it's easy to share?
I'd hope so, as people tend to do pretty good things with Shepard without doing the texture editing and what not.
Like I said before though, if I can have a hairstyle close to the defaults and make her smolder even more then thats what I'll stick with. We'll just have to wait and see.

I personally won't be using the default. Why? Because I have certain specifics that I want my Hawke to have. Also, I'm not light skinned, and nor will my Hawke be.
