I think default LadyHawke is absolutely gorgeous, but if I played as her I wouldn't feel like she's 'my' character. So I am definitely going to make my own version(s) of LadyHawke.



Plus I prefer giving my girls longer hair. :3

Yea the longer hairstyles in Origins always reminded me of Marjolaines "Hair ragged and messy" line, it just looks gross.

Me thinks that we should take a look at the character creator before we all decide whether or not to change her. If I feel that there is no way that I could make a better face, I'll leave it be. Truth be told though, that blood mark is so far gone it's not even funny.

Thats what I'm saying, once we get our hands on it I'll for sure try my hand at making a good or better comparison. But for the moment I'm leaning towards the default as she's just too...:wub:

I'd love to change my FemHawke to look like I want her to, but I've never been that great with CC editors, so if I can't find something I think will really look as good as the default (or reasonably close) then I'll stick to the default with a possible hair change up. I don't mine messing with things that aren't too monumental like hair color, eye color or things like that.

It's when I go overboard and change the structure of a character's jawline, eyebrows and everything else that it all goes haywire on me. Then I spend 30+ hours staring (and cringing) at a mistake. my Hawke deserves better@!

Another reason why I might not change her is because I'm a guy and arnt the keenest with make-up and such. Sometimes I tend to make them look alittle weird, not clown-whorish but weird as I tend to try and bring out my ladies eyes to the fullest.

Just checking - weren't we told that the default faces would not be available to change in the CC?  Or am I remembering wrong?

Again, as far as i know, default Hawk is unchangable bar the smudge.

No your right, the intial defaults cant be changed but we were told there will be presets and hairstyles plus beards that are very smiliar.

So making a few changes to the default face - say, longer hair, different eye color, won't be easy, unless you first recreate the entire default face.

We wont be able to create an exact match regardless but something close. Which is why I dont really want to change her as I'm totally fine with the default Female yet dont ever really plan on using the default males regardless of what type of person he'll be. (That dont mean I wont unleash beard power.)

I'll change her. She has to look more "ethnic" to me but I definitely love the default Lady Hawke. I'll enjoy her awesome plenty enough in the demo, but the actual game I'm customizing my Lady Hawke~

Not that Noomi Rapace isn't easy on the eyes, but all I'll see with the default face is Lisbeth getting  let's leave certain words/phrases out of the discussion  sooo.. ya, not gonna use the default..

I didn't see this until now,  and now I think I'll be using the default face all the way through my first play through.

Default Femhawke looks perfect. But I'll be using my decidedly imperfect created characters, because that's how we do's it.

True, while our created characters might not be able to hold a candle to the defaults (we've yet to know if its true however.) sometimes it just feels better seeing our versions of the character. Which is why CC's exisist in the first place.


However, she's one of my "types" to the bill. So I'm heavily undeicided but leaning towards going with the default.

Idk if the Pc will get the toolset to make better faces or not. Because your avatar is wayyy too good to have been made in the regular CC.
