I will soon have a new fully tweaked system for my games. I need to know how to re-download/re-install/restore Dragon Age Origins and DA:Awakening and all theDLC, etc to the new system. I originally bought all these from the EA store. Can you give me a step-by-step on getting all this done again? Furthermore, Once I re-install all this content exactly how do I restore all my saved game info for this game? Where exactly is the info for these saved games? I've been using Game Save Manager to save these games BUT in case this does not work I need to know how to do this manually. Thanks.

Copy your character folders (located in Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age/Characters on Win7) to an external HDD, an USB stick or somewhere else where you can transport it to your other PC. After installing on the new PC copy them back to that place.

The rest is, install DA:O, DA:A, patch and download all the DLC. It's linked to your EA account so once you log in, in game, provided the DA Updater service is running, it should work fine.

Oh and one more thing....this topic should be in the Support area for DA:O instead of the DA II forum. (contacting a mod to move this)

I'd suggest you get everything installed and authorized before installing your old saved game files on the new machine. That's not critical, but I've found it makes the authorization process simpler. Also, DA:O will sometimes time out if you're trying to download a lot of DLC at once. You may want to consider a manual download and install. See the bottom of this page: http://dragonage.wik...ntent_(Origins)

DLC files are stored in [Your docs]/Bioware/Dragon Age. The profile.dap file in there also holds the authorisation info. If you copy the files in [your docs] you shouldn't have to do anything. Certainly better than wasting bandwidth and redownloading the DLC.
