are you sure I thought it was only human.TheMightyEthan wrote...
Even if the Council dies in ME1, it's still not all human in ME2. Whether the Council lives or dies, the ME2 Council is still one each of human, asari, salarian, and turian.Cossack72 wrote...
An all human council leads to them basically saying "FU" to the council; they keep building it.
What is Arrival? (New DLC Leak?)

Yeah, I'm sure. It's human-led, but the other three species still have their own representatives.
As far as I can tell, its only even symbolically human lead. I mean, how could it possibly be officially human lead. For that matter, with everyone hating humans, how can it be symbolically human lead?

The Normandy SR-2 as constructed by the Allaince.

My impression is that it's human led because after the attack on the Citadel the Alliance fleet is the biggest fleet left in the galaxy (or at least Council space). So while people may think the humans are taking too much power, they kind of have to let them because without the Alliance fleet the Council races wouldn't be able to defend themselves against the Geth or the Terminus Systems.Omnicrat wrote...

The Council is still very much in-charge. After all, the keep shutting down Anderson [If you chose him] Things don't change that much if you save the council. Only thing is, there's a human among them.

*Edit* - The only reason I'm even calling it "human led" is because it's referred to as the human led council (either in the game or in one of the books, I don't remember which).

It could be the arrival of the Rachni!
Probably not though, since that would only apply to people who saved the queen. Or I guess there could be a different Rachni faction if you didn't save the queen...
Either way, probably not, but it's a thought.

This I'm thinking the Rachni from the Cerberus experiments that eascapes
It would be a new enemy that could add to ME2's combat

So if you saved the queen then she would return with her offspring on your side, and if you didn't save the queen then the Rachni would return as an enemy.jbblue05 wrote...

I still don't think it's likely, but it would be cool.

I tthink the Rachni from Cerberus experiments are going to be an enemy in ME3 no matter if you save the Queen or not

There's definitely a new DLC, and the trophy list for it leaked, that much is confirmed. For the most part though we're guessing at what the trophies mean and what the DLC will entail.Martini_lv wrote...

theres like 3 trophys right. but they were leaked through an update. i dont know about playstation but on the 360 there is a limit to achievments that can be added as dlc and some can be added through updates. so maybe there is a handful more achievments that are going to be added through the dlcTheMightyEthan wrote...

KNOWN: There will be a new achievements that are “Covert Action" - Rescue Dr. Amanda Kenson without attracting hostile attention. "Last Stand" - Survive 5 waves of enemies while protecting the "Object Rho". And finally, "The Ultimate Sacrifice" - Totally no info on this one has been found.
SOURCE: Data entries in the patch for the PS3 version of the game, published on this forum in the original post of this thread by Vamplosion.
KNOWN: Dr. Amada Kenson is scientist from the University of Arcturus who has published a paper declaring that most mass relays are far, far older than then Protheans, so much older that the same species couldn’t have built them.
SOURCE: Cerberus Daily News - last entry before going on hiatus (01.24.11).
KNOWN: There are data entries for a new star system in the Alternate Appearance Pack 2, at least in the PC version. The new system is: Viper Nebula, with the Bahak System in it. The Bahak system has five planets: Clogon, Aratoht, Yunaca, Urnola and Bastzuda. There is a goal marker for “Save Dr. Kenson,” but no indication of which planet. All planets are listed as under batarian surveillance and most are inhabited. SOURCE: Thanks to didymos1120 and charmingcharlie (plus any others I don’t know about.) for confirming this on this thread.
KNOWN: The Bahak System is the same system where there was a testy situation between the Earth Systems Alliance and the Batarian Hegemony. The system’s in the Skyllian Verge. SOURCE: Cerberus Daily News
(01.22.11 and 01.23.11.)
-A frigate from the batarian colony of Aratoht discovered an Alliance cruiser, the SSV Budapest, in the Bahak system. The Alliance claimed the Budapest chased pirates into batarian space-
Note: On Earth, there is a widely recognized rule of “hot pursuit” that allows a nation to pursue pirate into the
territorial waters of another country.
The Budapest eventually left Batarian space, averting a worse crisis. The Alliance refused to release the ship’s logbooks to support the pirate claim.
KNOWN: For every planet, EDI gives the same warning:
“The Batarian Hegemony considers any presence of Alliance military vessels in batarian space as hostile. The Normandy SR2, while an independent vessel, strongly resembles the Normandy SR1, an Alliance ship. Use of stealth systems is highly recommended.”
Each of the planet descriptions let's you know how intense its spy satellite surveillance is.
THEREFORE: Kenson is in batarian space and the Alliance can’t send in a rescue without risking a clash.
KNOWN: The Normandy is a Cerberus ship that’s fast and stealthy. Its chances of getting caught are lower than a normal vessel and the consequences of it being caught - as long as you’re not on it – aren’t as dire (diplomatically) as the capture and destruction of an alliance ship. It also has EDI, which betters its odds, and Joker.
SPECULATIVE: Note also the mission objectives: “Covert Action" - Rescue Dr. Amanda Kenson without attracting hostile attention.” That may only require slipping into the system unseen. Or it may require stealth in the ground mission itself.
