It would be very interesting if Arcturus Station by way of the University was finally introduced in the game. Would it be in the local cluster? Maybe we get an e-mail from this Amanda person asking for protection and we end up visiting the station where we would finally meet www.videogamesblogger.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/metal-gear-solid-peace-walker-big-boss-artwork.jpg]Admiral Steven Hacket[/URL]

My thoughts too.

As for more speculation about the ultimate sacrifice being a person... what about Anderson? He's practically shepard's best friend, a farther figure even... but given that he is no longer part of the citadel or even the alliance? after the last book he's been completely marginalised to the point of powerlessness. Almost as though he was written out of the series  and is presently a loose end?

Aw man, I had finally gotten to that calm "I'll just chill out about DLC" phase. I'll be wired for weeks over this.

I gotta say the ominous name of the DLC "Arrival" followed by the last achievement being titled "Ultimate Sacrifice" does seem to strongly suggest this is the LAST DLC before ME3 settles in.

So they are going to kill off Shepard again, and bring him back to life again?

Yup!

If that is the case, I'm starting a religion about Shepard. Coming back from the dead twice would make Jesus Christ look like yesterdays news.

Well you can't deny the space Jesus undertones of the Good Shepard and his twelve disciples.

Only problem is that the DLC would have to be programmed to be done only after the Suicide Mission is completed, possibly even after all possible quests in ME2 are completed. Retribution takes place 1 year after ME2 and if Anderson dies before then, how did Zombie Anderson come back in Retribution?

Ultimate sacrifice could mean sacrificing the world where the Reapers will enter the Galaxy..it could be Earth or the Turian, Asari, Salarian home world.

Thank God there is no achievement called "In Loving Memory"

People would freak out. Hell they should totally do this for Mass Effect 3.

Ominous achievement/trophy names.

Nope :)  http://masseffect.wi...m/wiki/Arcturus

It's at a ME relay hub linking to several systems, including the local cluster :)

Nope :)

You are confusing a system with a cluster. They are not the same thing. A system is one star and its orbiting planets. A cluster is a large area of many systems. We are in the Local Cluster-Sol System. Arcturus is also in the local cluster, because it is very close to earth. (36 light years)

Well, Watson, that's what the 'Ultimate Sacrifice' means. It is elementary.

You can mod a saved game to remove squadmates...even on the 360.  You can mod in only one character and it is still playable.  It wouldn't be difficult for them to add that feature in the dlc.

I'm pretty sure you would just get black screen if you import that save in ME3( like if you used cheats in ME1 and had both Ashley and Kaidan in the end and import it to ME2).

Yeah...but my point is that Bioware could easily take that into account if you only have two squadies left AND have finished the game.  You can still play missions after the Suicide Mission and only have one squadmate on the mission.  And Bioware can easily program that in just as easy as they implement a new power...especially since it is already possible.

In short, it's not an ME2 squadmate. That's out of the picture.

True. But I suppose there are way around that? If you can only access this after the ending of the main game, and it's conclusion means you're unable to keep playing (if it's something as monumental as reapers, then playing after it would seem.. odd, no?) then a squadmate would be a valid option. Highly unlikely, obviously, but it is an option.

In that case, it would most certainly work. I doubt you won't be able to keep playing after the DLC's completion, though.

If serious chances that Evolution and DLC connected are high but not absolute.

Then player won't have sense of urgency in ME3 if he/she picks up homeworld of race he/she either hates or doesn't care about.

Mickey is a fu**ing amateur. He couldn't tell that an asari was winking at a hired assasin to kill him, who also killed her husband by putting a lethal dose of water on his drink which was extracted by repeatedly stabbing a huge cube of ice even if she blinked repeatedly.

Except that Mickey wasn't in The Great Mouse Detective. It was about a mouse that lived in Sherlok Holmes' walls.

Why do I have the feeling that the mission is going to feature lots and lots of Husks?

Ah, that cartoon. Well, Mickey is better than him. The Great Turian Detective said so.

What the duck.

I would but the UK doesn't have it yet. <_<

At first, I assumed the ultimate sacrifice would be the VS killing themselves, but remember that a confirmed(?) feature was that if you cheated on your LI, you there would be consequence?

I cant imagine they would only do that for Tsoni.
