Doubtful. Rho is a greek letter, often used as a 'number'. It is probably a numbered artifact.

Just a slight note because I know some people don't get it: GDC isn't just today; it lasts for five days or so. That is, we may not get something today, but tomorrow or the days after. So if we don't hear anything today, don't panic!

I predict if we'll see anything about this Arrival DLC, it'll be this Wednesday, March 2 during the GDC Awards show.

My guess is we won't see/hear anything from GDC. Then, knowing everyone is sad/disappointed, they will announce something the tuesday after

I'd like to believe that, but given how hush-hush Bioware has been since releasing the ME3 teaser, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't and instead say something unexpectedly after, just to keep the anticipation up.  They feed off our unrest lol

GDC is an 'industrial' event, not sure how DLC announcements would fit there.

Oh my god. After reading this thread, and reading about the actual achievements, this is going to be incredible. I think this is the most hyped I've ever been for DLC. LoTS is up there, but this? My god, "The Ultimate Sacrifice"? "The Last Stand"? And even a stealth centric achievement?!

Sounds like this is going to be BioWare's most amazing piece of DLC yet. I absolutely cannot wait. I'm just sitting in awe, waiting impatiently.

I expect we'll probably find out a lot of info about this DLC from GDC. As far as info about ME 3 goes though, we probably won't get much more then another awesome trailer. I think they're going to enjoy playing with us and build up the suspense for a while.

I say we won't get even a trailer. Only some tiny bit of info. Maybe screenshots.

And wait for a full reveal in E3? But why? ME2 had the same schedule (ME3 started development before ME2 was released) and was partially revealed in GDC, with the full reveal being revealed during E3. (aka the awesome trailer)

Indeed. I'm pretty sure the very first screenshots of ME2 were released at GDC 2009. Then the full reveal was at E3. Moreover, Kasumi was "announced" at last year's GDC.

I'm guessing that The Ultimate Sacrifice does not refur to another death of shepard, probably is more about what happens to the woman we are trying to save, or someone else we will meet.

While ordinarily I'd agree with you, as others have pointed out Bioware announced Kasumi at GDC last year, so it wouldn't surprise me if they do the same this year.

Right... but in-game, they never call the saved council human lead... hm...

Finally got it figured out (just beat ME1 again): if you let the council die, then the person you pick to be on the newly formed council is the chairman of the council; if you save the council, though, then the person you pick is just a regular member. So if the council dies then the new council is human-led, if you save the council then it's not human-led.

Wait, how did humans get the authority to make a council chairman and make themselves the chairman to boot?  I mean, I know the old concil dies, but that doesn't mean people forget how the system works or that they let the group everyone was suspitious of anyway make themselves supream emperors of the universe*!

*hyperboly for humor/dramatic effect. (thought I should not that to avoid afew posts of arguing over nothing)

And I finally got actual confirmation:  just started a game of ME2, and if you import a save where you let the council die then the intro sequence describes the new council as "human-led."
