On second glance...the dude shows both sides of the PS3 flyer, but not the 360 flyer. But the other side is probably ME2 as well.

My question is, does the 360 version of DA2 have that flyer from ME2 as well?

What bothers me is seeing this video

And seeing that the 360 version doesn't have that flyer.

I assume its on the opposite side of the DA2 flyer, like it was in the PS3 box.

It's finished? First you say that in ME3 we'll go to dark space, now that the DLC is finished?

I said it appears to be finished, judging by the achievements. As for ME3, watch this interview and you will know I'm not making that up.

He simple says you will probably have to explore where the Reapers are coming from, not where they came from (i.e. their origin). I may be wrong, but I assume this simply means investigating how they got into out galaxy. I would love to go to dark space, but I think you may be reading a tad too much into what he says if you think he has confirmed that we will.

I know. We've covered that in the other thread, though, so no sense in repeating it here.

Oh ****, I just had a thought about the 'Ultimate sacrifice achievement'. What if it's earned because the virmire survivor dies too in a sacrificing way?

noooo :(

Several reasons, but mostly because:
a) BioWare said they wanted the Virmire Survivor alive by the end of ME2; that is, for the story to continue. Hence the inability to recruit them for your ME2 squad.
B) The VS is a love interest.
c) It would simply ****** off God knows how many people.

As of now, the general consesus seems to be that the Ultimate Sacrifice is going to be one of the following:
a) The death of an in-DLC character unrelated to Shepard.
B) Shepard being captured by the batarians to allow Dr. Kenson and the team escape with Object Rho.
c) Leaving Earth for the Reapers to eat.

My thought is you somehow trap the reapers on Earth so you have more time to figure out how to stop them. This would be the ultimate sacrifice. Also it would be difficult to justify side quests if in ME3 the reapers are attacking the whole galaxy.

It's just another theory in a sea of thousands of other theories.. There's nothing to suggest it will happen. It would cause outrage anyway. Bioware don't want to ****** off their fans.

What about d) Shepard losing his humanity?

It's something i've been hearing a lot. I don't necessarily think it will happen though. But it's possible.

That might be related with this "5 waves" achievement. I don't like idea that batarians will capture Shepard though.
BTW I really hope Bioware wont tell anything about this "sacrifice" before release.

Also thought about it. It's possible but not in DLC, just too important for plot,

Pardon my ignorance, but what is meant by Shepard "losing his humanity"? As in, he turns into a Reaper avatar (ala Grayson in Retribution)?

Yea, I think that's the jist of it. I'm not 100%.. it's just something I've seen a few times while lurking the forums.

Yes, he slowly starts to lose himself by being infected with some Reaper Tech. Now he has mindsets from both sides of the previous extinction. Just a theory though. And look what happened before Grayson died. Amazing abilities but getting more and more under the Reaper's palm.

I will say this... I hope The Ultimate Sacrifice is a serious sacrifice. We're on the scale of all organic life in the Universe being potentially wiped out. So a Virmire type decision like one person close to you dying is not as big a sacrifice this time around. It needs to be something HUGE. I will be disappointed if it's that predictable. I want to be shocked.

i think the five waves thing is sorta like horde mode in gears after you kill each wave you get sometime to get ammo or what not then the next comes and the sacrifice could be

we destroy or hand over object rho

we lock out the sol relay or destroy it (if it can be) or disable it some how mabe we board it

the doctor to me sounds like a me1 verison of liara with what she know of the history of the relays which could be helpful in me3

or we blow up a planet

arturus is a spation that does what its just a space station what kind of a sacrifice would that make

I see. well, I still think it would be an appropriate story. But ah well. we'll see :)

My idea about the beginning of ME3 is that Shepard is captured by batarians, indoctrinated, and starts becoming Reaper-like, slowly losing his humanity, just like everyone's theories about Arrival. You know what's weird? I had this idea before Arrival was announced, and now everyone is having the same idea as me. Hell of a coincidence.

Although the fact we thought of it means they'll do something more epic.

My new logic is that this DLC must being comming out before E3 because Bioware will probubly be showcasing ME3 and this DLC will certianly affect the start of ME3 and massive DLC spoilers will be dropped otherwise. Other than that a pre E3 reasese date would be a good Prelude to E3 and build up HYPE!!!! Posted Image

You guys are going to have aneurysms and strokes like whoa before this is over. Bioware's not going to do much of anything for this until DA2 is out, reviewed, and mostly bought up by early adopters. They won't take the wind out of one franchise for another. I also think it's a major stretch to expect some actual major sacrifice regarding Shepard, the team, Earth, whatever, as Bioware is not going to put something that will hugely influence the direction of ME3 into content that a lot of people won't buy.

In short: don't forget to breathe.
