I wish I shared your optimism. From memory Lair of the Shadow Broker was announced in late July 2010 before being released in early September.  About 6 weeks. 
 
Worst case scenario, and simply to add another dark cloud, if the current run of comics is in any way linked to the story of Arrival, it's possible that we'll have to wait for the series to be completed, just like Redemption was (January - April 2010) - long before Lair of the Shadow Broker was officially announced in July 2010. 

I'll be extremely happy if it comes out in the near future, but something tells me I shouldn't get my hopes up.

I've actually thought of that possibility. It just seems so horrible that I keep telling myself it isn't the case.

+ the fact that the only reason we know about the achievements/trophies is because of a PS3 update. Are you that short sighted that you think that only the PS3 gets this dlc because it was shown on the PS3?

Just got my DAII versionin the mail. And I did get the Arrival thingie. (maybe its only with the Signature editions?)

It's funny: BioWare gives people this leaflet, which explicitly states that an arrival "has begun", only to not have the slightest information on it. You'd expect those who see the leaflet to go search for information on it, but guess what, there IS no information.

I really don't understand how the BioWare marketing works lately.

If they don't tell us anything at PAX, which starts in less than 24 hours, then I'm done with this. I don't want a trailer. I don't want screenshots. I just want some basic info, like a plot summary and what to expect, a confirmed release date, and perhaps a price. That would make me a happy panda; I'm really not asking for anything beyond that.

Look at it this way if the trophies didn't leak on the playstation then we wouldn't of known of any DLC coming. The leaflet was meant to be the first tease which would of got the hype train rolling. With a full anouncement coming later. I guess Bioware marketing are sticking to their original plan on when to announce it unfortunately!

Well... I will be happy if this DLC will be available in our region, becouse LoSB was not, and the appearance pack 2 is also not available for this region.... Well its just great that someone buys the game, and cant get the DLC-s (atleast the last two).... Whats gonna be next? Mass Effect 3 wont be available in our region too?........ Im really dissapointed in bioware....Freaking out people give cash for something cant play any DLC but who's getting it with piracy can play all..... ROFL....

End of the month? DLC these days are really slow in development. Honest Hearts is also taking forever to come out.
