so yes as far as consoles go this is a least the second generation of DLC, and if you include PC games there has been DLC for small addons for several years before that. (whether it be player of dev made)

Indeed as far as the ''console'' go, back in the old days pc users got ''dlc'' aka map packs, weapon packs etc for free!

WRONG Arival DLC is about arrival of new shipment of Palaven Goldfish to Citadel Suvenires!!

And the ultimate sacrifice is about choosing between them and the old fishies, as the Aquarium get over-capacitated !!

This may require stealth to avoid Kelly bithing aroud your cabin about you changing fish without her notice !!.

I dont know if they make that into box expansion pack but this is going to be Hell of a DLC anyway..

If "Arrival" turns out to be an expansion it would be so awesome. However we should not expect any more DLC before ME3 arrives. Right now an expansion seems not too plausible, considering there will only be 3 Achievements/Trophies. But imagine something of the caliber of DA: Awakening in ME2!!!

As someone suggested a few pages back, it's very possible that those three achievements aren't all there is. But this is probably stretching it; I'm actually pretty convinced it's just another DLC like LOTSB anyway.

What do you mean, "such a fuss"?  All there's been has been a single leaflet in the DA2 box and a couple of forum posts.  That's nothing in terms of advertising.

Bioware has already stated in the CDN that there is one more DLC coming before ME3.

Also the PSN Trophies leak for the PS3 ME2 has kind of confirmed the next DLC as Arrival.

I wish I still had the link from one of the Moderators stating it was an accident with the PS3 upgrade and they were leaked on accident.

It was also stated that BW will be announcing more information in the coming weeks. I'm guessing Monday after PAX

Still if its on the same level of LotSB or better, then we have nothing to worry about in terms of quality. However we still have the inconvenience of knowing next to nothing....not even a reveal date or something

Personally I think the best for us (really hardcore fans) is to get "Arrival" and one final DLC which is sort of a prologue to ME3. "Arrival" will be very important in terms of plot, remember that the scientist has made a groundbreaking discovery regarding Prothean technology/artifacts.

So lets see...Bring it on Bioware!!! Please make the official Reveal/Announcement @ PAX East!!!!

As far as I know, BioWare Austin have nothing to do with Mass Effect; their current project is the new Star Wars MMO, which is in development. BioWare Edmonton are the ones responsible for Mass Effect. But anything is possible, really.

There's also a version with a big Mass Effect 3 logo in the top left corner. Shepard has had the N7 logo since ME1 and he also has it in the ME3 trailer.. so how does that exactly restrict it to Mass Effect 2?

I noticed the same thing, but I think it's because on PS3 Overlord and LotSB weren't actually DLC, they were included on the disc.  If you look at the Dragon Age: Origins DLC you'll see that the trophies on the PS3 version directly correspond to the achievements on the 360 version.  I think it's reasonable to conclude that DLC for ME2 that's released on both platforms as DLC will have 1:1 trophy:achievement parity.

I'm assuming you're referring to the German version which has a *small* logo in the upper left corner that *might* be ME2 or *might* be ME3, the picture is too low-res to tell, and the argument that it has the ME3 color assumes that the camera that took the picture had good color balance.
