I confess I like DAO better than DA2 so far (although I still like DA2)  but the craziness on those boards is boggling.

I looked at a vid (vid, lol) a few hours ago and it looks like a total rip-off of ME. It even has a conversation wheel *identical* to ME's. All around, it looked good, except for the combat.

It was like when Vampire Rain (AKA worst game in history - seriously, google it, it is awful) stole from Splinter Cell, but failed epicly (is that a word?).

Bioware ain't announcing nothing at PAX.What is PAX any way it sound mad irreverent.I dont expect any info until May because Bioware obviously don't know how to Market stuff.

I would be loving it right now if it was just ME2 with swords. No, its still more DA:O than anything - I think its mostly the level design and plotting that its messing me up. It's still good but not great. Not that I ever expected it to dethrone the ME series for me. I'm more excited about this DLC than a whole DA sequel.

I was tempted in renting it after seeing the vid, but all the crying and moaning of fan boys over at the DA forums makes me rethink that idea. You would think that after finally getting a voice acting protagonist would be a step forward. I guess the DA fans are a backwards lot.

I think we're saying goodbye to the Virmire survivor, as having them as a squadmate in ME3 would present some serious balance issues, and having them in ME3 but not as a squadmate would be retarded.
