Well they said that this would be a bridging DLC for mass effect 3 , I believe this would be a bit bigger and maybe more time consuming, so that's why they aren't anouncing anything.

If we get news in one month (or more) from now, then that means that the leak occured early.
If that's the case, then they should have been more straightforward with us.
Anyway gonna check again here in a week or so. Hope there's gonna be something worth reading or better, playing.

The PS3 leak most likely wasn't intentional. But there was nothing early about the leaflet in the DA2 cases; that was planned months in advance. We'll probably hear something about this at PAX.

re:  VS dying

I doubt that the VS will die.  We never really saw that much of a "impact" from that choice in terms of something that plays out significantly beyond the first game.  The interaction with the VS was essentially the same no matter who you saved, unless they were your love interest -- but again, this isn't a difference based on who was saved or not.

My money is on them living, at least going into ME3

I doubt they will wait until E3 to announce Arrival.  At that point they would effectively be stealing thunder from ME3 to promote ME2 DLC, which wouldn't make sense.  Man, I remember all the pre-ME3 release teasers, and how I gobbled them up prior to it's release.

Unless BW thinks that Arrival is sufficient teaser for ME3, but I doubt that they would think that.  I know many people who are dyametrically opposed to purchasing DLC.  While most of the people here will probably buy it, I think we will still see a lot of teasers in the form of new character reveals and trailers.  And I think we will see that at E3 in regards to ME3, not Arrival.  And it will still cost $10.00.

The leaked achievements have to do with winning card hands in the game.

So, why isn't arrival just the new DLC that has the reapers showing up? They don't have to be attacking Earth sense the ME3 snippet suggests that scene is going to occur in ME3 itself so why don't they just show up and try to take over a few more planets so in ME3 we're already in the war and taking back a few of those worlds.

How many people on this forum actually work for a gaming company? How many people know the procedures Bioware has to go through before they can release certain information. There is a business aspect to all this that some people keep forgetting. A company has a set date and time to release games, information, trailers and who they release it to, there are contracts that get signed and they have to be followed otherwise people can lose their jobs. The people at Bioware are real living people who have jobs that they have to maintain, I'm sure they are eager to get the info out but I would not be surprised if there is alot more to this than the average fan or user is aware of. I know its almost futile to tell people they should just be paitient on here but how many posts of people asking whats taking so long are we going to need?

also i fully support having Jeff Bridges aka the dude in my squad just as long as his loyalty mission involves getting back his rug

Oh come on for Petes sake, can't you do something else before the DLC arrives, rather then saying that you hope it will come this second/minute/hour/day/week.You can read a book, clean the house,play another game etc.This way time will pass faster and you'll get the DLC in a blink of an eye.
