Emotions since the Arrival DLC leak:
1) Excited and overjoyed
2) Anxious in anticipation for news
3) Anger for not hearing any more details
4) Excited and overjoyed about DLC flyer in DA2
5) Anger for no immediate news
6) Sad and tired for no news
7) Nonchalant ---> this is now

I'm sure I'll get back to #1 once the DLC is given a release date, but for now, I'm at #7

Look at it from a logical standpoint. ME3 is going to come out around Christmas to max its profit potential. Arrival is the branch between ME2 and ME3. They will use it to generate extra hype to increase sales.

So if they release it too late, like a week before it goes on shelves, there wont be enough time to get people intrested. By the same token if they release it too early, like a month before it goes on sale, people will lose intrest.

We might get info here and there along the way, but I'm not expecting to see this for some time...even if they likely already have it finished.

The best thing for Arrival is a summer release.

The seeds of hype have been planted(the accidental leak of achievements and then the flyer in the DA2 cases).

Now all we've got to do is be patient. The Reapers sure as hell have been patient. We can too.

It's been 3 weeks since we found out about the damn thing. If it takes them another 3 weeks to annoucne it and then it turns out that we have to wait another 2 months for the DLC to actually get released then I'm turning to blood magic.

It's been three weeks since the leak, technically as far as EA/Bioware are concerned you found out about it on Tuesday with the Arrival pamphlet included in Dragon Age 2.  Just because the achievements leaked info on the DLC doesn't mean that Bioware are going to chuck the entire marketing schedule out the window because of it.

I understand that and I'm not even saying that Bioware should make changes in their calendar due to the leak. I'm mostly just commenting on the situation and expressing my own frustration (like almost everyone here).
That said, I think it really wouldn't hurt them to give us something. After all, they said we would learn more in the coming weeks.

I saw a youtube video posted of an Arrival leaflet in the Dragon Age II case. Did that turn out to be legit?

I didn't get one... but i'm in the UK and ordered the signature edition so that might be why.

The majority of DA2 cases have that Arrival leaflet in them, so yes, it's perfectly legit.

People should remember that technically, as far as I know Arrival shouldn't really have been introduced until around the release of Dragon Age 2. It's only because of the leak that it's been known for around a month. Which means that people should only be getting excited about it and wanting to know more around now.

As much as I want to, I'm not expecting it for a while.

I bet the reaction would have been more interesting if it hadn't leaked as the leaflet would have looked like just advertisement for ME3 and probably only a small number of people that would have been told to be over thinking it would be discussing this until they announced it.
