I think distance is plausible.

I truly hope we don't have the opportunity to blow up the sun. And I will snap my ME3 disc(s) in half if all the reapers are stupid enough to attack Earth at the same time.

What I want is a choice to end the cycle by destroying the citadel and relays. Screw the reapers and their technology. Sure, advanced civilization will have a harder time spreading through the galaxy, but at least the reapers won't be able to direct intelligent life down the path they want. They won't be able to open the database in the citadel to find every colonized world and destroy it. Even if the current civilization withers and dies due to the reapers, at least other species will have a chance somewhere down the road. I think that's forshadowed a bit by the Protheans sending out their beacon message. They warned us. Now it's our turn to take the next step.

I thought the general theory was that we would disable one of the relays at arcturus trapping the reapers in Sol, at least for a time.  It's not that they're foolishly choosing to commit all of their resources to attacking earth, maybe earth is the only thing they can attack ala ME3 trailer.

Things I've deduced from the lates screen:
-Shepard is planetside
-something interesting is going on between a mass relay, and 304942
-we're gtting a new gun?
-G7 sounds a lot like N7...

Well the first image is clearly Dr. Kenson being held by Batarians. Those aren't Mercs by the way, there are some subtle changes to their armor (besides color scheme) which leads me to believe that they are most likely Batarians.

The second image is Shepard looking at a Mass Relay, which Dr. Kenson was researching. So yeah I'm guessing this confirms she was captured by Batarians and what not. This may not be much, but hey finally something! I was starting to think I had imagined this whole thing and was going crazy. Well okay I probably am crazy...

I guess that depends on how many reapers there are. There's a lot Bioware hasn't revealed yet. They must have some means to get back into the galaxy quickly (without the citadel relay), so I doubt they'd all be near the same relay at the same time. I know reapers are arrogant, but they relied on surprise in the past, and we know they're coming this time.

Vigil never said every reaper focused on a single world in a combined attack. He just said they isolate and pick off worlds. For all we know, each planet gets attacked by twenty reapers. Or it could be hundreds per world.

I don't understand how we're going to magically shut down relays and prevent reapers from turning them back on. They built them! They obviously know far more about how the relays work (most likely everything) than humans or asari or even protheans. From the trailer, I assumed that the reapers had isolated Earth, not that we somehow trapped them here. They sure as hell didn't seem "trapped" to me. And if the reapers aren't totally stupid, they'll leave scout ships at any connecting relays, so we won't be able to lock them in. But then again, harbinger sounded pretty dumb, so who knows.

It doesn't confirm anything, in my opinion. Everything is still speculation at this point. There's just enough info that makes people's imaginations run wild with theories but not enough to paint any kind of complete picture. So we'll see..  I hope Bioware releases more info soon or half the people will be playing Arrival from white padded rooms.

I think there needs to be a bit more speculation:
Area code 304 = West Virginia
Area code 942 = Nova Scotia

Its there on their facebook. However I didn't see them mention retweets specifically. It only says facebook impressions this time.
