Loving the buzz this is driving on the forums.

As ever, it's way too easy (and admittedly fun) to read way too much into screenshots. The numbers thing is most probably totally context-specific, like the suggestion of a distance of Reapers from Earth etc. or even something that only makes sense in the actual DLC scenario at that exact moment in time.

That or it's a Bioware in-joke, i.e. How many speculation posts have been WAY off the mark since we announced the new DLC. Next they'll be doing motivationals about us: Pic of Ash pointing boomstick at camera, text reading "We have a new DLC. Just give us your god damn money."

OR the number could be the number of posters that said with ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY that the Westminster Clock Tower sniper was voiced by Sean Bean in the ME3 trailer. Accent identification fail.

They said they'll post another screenshot if they get 750,000 Facebook impressions on the one they posted yesterday.

Just gonna throw it out there...

if Arrival concludes with the reapers decending upon Earth, and the Ultimate Sacrifice is to, well, 'sacrifice' Earth... it'll be pretty hard for Shepard to appreciate the lightness of 'anything' when his homeworld got butchered.. thanks to him (or her, femsheps *nods*).

To add context to what I'm babbling about: - Wiki Extract on ME3
"The tone is expected to continue to get darker, yet also bring back some fun and lightness and include a lot more humor."

Sooo, yeah.. on most other occassions, silly little shenanigans may seem hilarious, but then you remind yourself "My homeworld is being obliterated right now by millenia old sentient machines as I watch this salarian riding a pony, it's not really doing it for me anymore." Just saying, even renegade sheps might lose their sense of humour if that's how ME3 start's up [which if speculation on Arrival's conclusion is correct, will be how it does start].

My 5 cents :D

Not a new poster, but haven't posted for a looooooooooooooooooooooooong time. :D

First welcome to the chaos known as these forums hah. Second you're likely right just the speculations are pretty fun to watch but likely way off. Enjoy

You're right that that would certainly put a damper on Shepard's mood, but people have a surprising ability to enjoy the little things even while terrible **** is happening around them.  I guarantee that the members of La Resistance during WWII still laughed and told jokes and had some fun even though their country was occupied by the ****s (apparently I can't say that word... I'm referring to the German Fascists of the mid-1900's).  I'm sure they didn't laugh as much, tell as many jokes, or have as much fun as they would have had Germany not invaded France, but there still were some lighthearted moments in there.

*Edit* - It's also possible that most or all of the lightheartedness in ME3 will come from dialog that is completely serious within the world but is amusing to the player/viewer.

@XyleJKH - Thanks for the welcome. There's only so long you can stand reading from the sidelines before the thread sucks your opinions out like a singularity!

OT - That new screen should be here any time now hopefully. Hoping it will show the main antagonist of this new DLC. That'll give everyone something juicy to chew on. Numbers-Shmumbers!

If they do it at the same time as yesterday we've still got about 2 hours.

I don't care how long it is, as long as it can make up for it with good content.

I don't know what 304942 means but I know who's responsible for the reapers getting loose. KYLE!. [url.=http://southpark.wikia.com/index.php?title=Special:NewFiles&image=WeeWee3

OH forget it!.  It's supposed to be a picture of kyle from south park.  for some reason i can't post pictures on here, and for the WeeWee part of the embed code it's the name of the episode not a dude's wang.

That's bec ause your doing it wrong, chap!

The [ url] tags are for linking hyperlinks, not images.

Second, you need to end any tag with a second set [ /url] of brackets of the form [/FORMAT].

Third, the image tags are [ img].

So:

http://southpark.wik...s&image=WeeWee3

There's your link.

http://southpark.wik...s&image=WeeWee3
Finally, your link took me to the photo page of the South Park Wiki.  You need to click on a specific image, view image, and link to just the image if you want it to show up with image tags.

Image IPB

Like so.  An image link is going to end with an image extension like .jpg, .bmp, .png, .gif etc.
