I'm thinking this means we're going to Earth, judging by the trees. Out of all the exotic flora we see in the galaxy, have we ever seen any trees that looked like the ones in our backyards? Maybe we have, but i don't remember them. The trees we see in the picture are earth trees.

 It could very well be Earth. It could go something like this. We get a tip that something is going on we go back to Earth, the reapers arrive we say oh **** dlc and game completly ends then ME 3. Or Reapers arrive we leave to get help end dlc and gameplay then ME 3.

I actually thought that wasn´t Earth flora...
Can´t quite remember how they looked on Horizon, but I don´t think this will take place on Earth.

The girl in the restraints is a doctor that found out something about the relay . I think she was kidnaped or something

I don't know if it will be *at* the expo, it might just be a separate announcement, I just expect it to be soon because of these screens they're showing us. That's the kind of thing that leads up to an announcement/trailer.

tru tru....one can hope ive already played all 3 classes in DA2 so now I guess its off to Homefront I need more ME2 content

Well, I keep hearing that this DLC is going to bridge the gap between Mass Effect 2 and 3, so maybe "Arrival" will be some kinda prologue. I dunno. What I DO know, however, is that I'm drooling uncontrollably and struggling not to eat my keyboard from lack of any sort of indicator as to what "Arrival" really is. Bioware, like my ex-girlfriend, you know just how to hurt me enough that I like it and want to strangle you all at once.

There is also that Hello world thing on masseffect.com that kinda hints towards earth.

p.s I am really annoyed was just watching the Game Baftas and Mass Effect 2 didnt get the game award... Bloody Black Ops did!! Wth Black Ops wasnt that good!!

Weren't there trees on Pragia and Horizon?

I don't think it's much of a stretch for organisms like Earth trees to evolve on other planets.

Even if they are earth trees, they could easily have been planted around the compound during terraforming.  People plant non-indigenous plants in their yards all of the time.

IMO, the cliffs in Screen Shot #1 look like the cliffs in Screen Shot #2, which to me would indicate that all the screen shots are of the same compound.
