Shep went solo just for a short time in Overlord. Guess it is the same here (if even that). I'd rather say, if we have some solo moments for Shep, that would be the perfect time for a stealth mission which is a positive point in my book.

I don't see how that confirms anything. There's a number of reasons why Shepard would go in alone.

Shepard lone wolfing would prove nothing. Besides in a ME2 DLC suggests that you can play it at any time throughout the story board, like every other DLC. Killing off the entire squad would not only suck, but it would be impossible during the storyline.

I guess you weren't here when ME2 was still in development and ME fans were sure that they wouldn't get a new Squad for ME2. After all, they loved the ME Squad they already had.

Remember the past if you wish to perdict the future.

The entire plot of ME2 revolved around gathering a squad, I highly doubt they did that just to scrap the current squad and make us gather an all new one for ME3. You're really jumping to conclusions here, besides we have had examples of solo-missions before where Shepard was only temporarily removed from the squad, you know.. speaking of looking at the past and all.

So, when do we get a release date for this thing? Or at least some form of official announcement?

Like that changes anything? The entire plot of ME3 will involve gathering allies to defeat the Reapers. Same set up but at a larger scale. Since the old Squadies can die they must be replaced less the story suffer for it.

That's a bit too broad and doesn't take into account the many similiarities.

Hell, I'm surprised so many fans blind themselves to the patterns given off by Dragon Age, Dragon Age DLC, Awakening, DA2, and ME2. They all have something VERY similiar in common.

That and they all have a tendency to replace killable Party/Squad members off with new faces. in some cases new faces that barely get any screen time.

How many times have we been lead astray by Twitter? The DA2 heard from these leaks and so called mentions is nothing like the end product.

take those with a grain of salt.

ME3 will be a standalone experience that will be enhanced if you import. None of the Killable Squaddies are needed to beat ME3 or to get the ME3 story.

Oh we are. Squaddies relevant to ME3 and are needed for the story of ME3 to progress will be provided for all Shepards to use across all saves. Ergo, no dead Squaddies outside DLC.
