one person might seem like a drop in a bucket, untill you get enough drops to fill said bucket.  now, I will not claim that  all the VS fans will refuse to buy the game, I cannot speak for everyone.  but...do not discount it as a possibility

I can discount it because when I say its not going to affect their profits, I mean it's not going to affect their profits enough for them to give two squirts of urine.  Even if you put every "V.S. Banana Rider fan" together and they boycott it.

I would like to buy this DLC/ME3 if it's something I'm interested in, nor do I wish BioWare ill-will. 

BioWare obviously has many other fans that obviously keep them financially going.  

And there's even more power to me if it's a product I don't want.  Then I don't need to purchase it.  I can spend that money on a Rammstein ticket instead.

Or Skyrim or The Witcher 2.

I thought Ash and Kaiden were the most boring characters in the game. Hopefully there will be some romance option for the fans, but for me I hope this DLC focuses mainly on the story.

It's technically feasible, but it's bad business. You're eliminating all the people from your potential buyers who never bothered to finish the game (and may just download this and then quit after 20 minutes), and at least temporarily everyone who hasn't finished the game yet, i.e. a lot of the PS3 users. Of course I hope they do it anyway, but I'd be surprised.

Nah thats not what I mean.  From the main menu you have the option to "play Arrival DLC".  You select it, it asks you which of the 4 shepards you have completeed the game with you want to use.

Then you play the DLC with that shepard.  It ends.  The game saves your file.  Then you're back to the main menu.  No continuation.

True enough. Anyway, this facility that the doc is trapped in, what do you think that it is? A research facility? An archaelogical site? Or has she been abducted? (Something which I doubt, unless the artifact is in a completely different location)

Probably it will be established in the canon already.  Like you don't have to play the Firewalker DLC to get the Hammerhead in Overlord.

Not sure.  I'm waiting until Mass Effect 3 comes out to to bother with any DLC.  If ME3 turns out to be all I could hope it to be, then I will pick it up and all the bridging DLC.  If not, then there are other high quality games out there to play instead this year.
