I don't think the actual invasion will begin, since this DLC will most likely could be played before the suicide mission. I just don't see the Reapers appearing and taking over Earth, only for Shepard to continue going against the Collectors, and everyone at the Citadel continues to not care.

Nah thats not what I mean.  From the main menu you have the option to "play Arrival DLC".  You select it, it asks you which of the 4 shepards you have completeed the game with you want to use.

Then you play the DLC with that shepard.  It ends.  The game saves your file.  Then you're back to the main menu.  No continuation.

Something like Witchhunt I guess? I'm not sure they'd do that though, since the PS3 version just came out a month ago. If anything the "arrival" will be stopped, which will allow Shepard to have free time tlll ME3.

This is the last dlc, and there is no indication that Ash/Kai will be involved. Nothing at all. If this is the case I will not be buying ME3 at all. I will rent it, if I like it I will buy it used.

No, I will not reward Bioware for shafting two characters and ignoring them. Plus Walters is lead writer and has destroyed the series. It can't be saved. Nah, you're not getting through to him.  He's got "Zomg Liara fans got a DLC but Kaiden/Ash fans didnt? Holyshizznitwithbbqsauceiquit!!!" syndrome.

Think about it.

Liara get's DLC in ME2 which not everyone will experience it since it's a DLC.

While in ME3 it's gonna take big role and everyone who got ME3 will experience it!

This is exactly how I think, and I have Ash as my LI.
though then all Liara fans that were so happy after LOTSB will be pissed

If to be fair for both Ash/Kaidan and Liara fans, they should share the same fate in ME3.
either be squadmates or have important roles in the background and great closure at the end.
But we'll never know until the game is out...

As I said before, they think it's "not fair" that Liara got a DLC and the VS hasnt.  It's fanboidom at it's "finest"

Fair enough. So then you couldn't use that character to play one of the other DLCs you can play post-SM? Again, its possible, depending on what Bioware wants to achieve with this DLC. If they want to do anything super-dramatic, that would be the way to do it.

This.  Unfortunately, I have to hear about it all secondhand.  I just do not have the money to buy games that do not fabulously enthrall me.  *quietly rubs Skyrim Pre-order slip in back pock*  Erhem, yeah...

So we finally have it pretty much confirmed that their will be no Ash/Kaiden DLC. I hope that I am wrong, I really liked how they brought back characters from LotsB. It was my favourite DLC, overlord really didn't fit into the grand scheme of the mission, so I waited for it to be available at half price. Still a good DLC, just not as good as what I Was expecting

I am sure Bioware will shed light on this soon. Everyone just take a chill pill

Probably never seeing as how there actually are some folks (myself included) that have a couple of games where Wrex is dead.

Yeah that would be it.  The last thing that your Shepard does before being transferred to ME3.  If you wanted to complete other missions then you'll need to do all that first.  I doubt there will be any more story DLC after this one.

Not necessarilly, it may still be a VS DLC. I certainly doubt that it will be as personal as LotSB, though.
