I bet this will be the first mission Liara gives you.
We can only hope. Hearing Liara's voice at the start of this DLC would make it even better:wub:
Yeah lets see what the Normandy can do against a Reaper. And thank you kind sir. If they dont restock stores soon, There wont be any copies left to sell........
I (Like many other ME fans) will be pre-ordering ME3 so it'll be in my mailbox on release date. No "Sorry sir, we're all out" for me. Would be incredible if ME3 would break the 'most copies sold in the first week' record though.

Not necessarilly, it may still be a VS DLC. I certainly doubt that it will be as personal as LotSB, though.XyleJKH wrote...
So we finally have it pretty much confirmed that their will be no Ash/Kaiden DLC. I hope that I am wrong, I really liked how they brought back characters from LotsB. It was my favourite DLC, overlord really didn't fit into the grand scheme of the mission, so I waited for it to be available at half price. Still a good DLC, just not as good as what I Was expecting
I am sure Bioware will shed light on this soon. Everyone just take a chill pill
You can make a pretty good educated guess that this isnt going to have anything to do with the VS. And again, DLCs, regardless of how small, take time to write. Meaning that the probability of a VS DLC at this point, really is pretty low. Im not going to go out on a limb and say it's a 100% certainty that it's not going to happen. But I will say that it really is not very likely at this point.

Point me to cold confirmation please.
No, what VS fans are mad about is that two awesome characters have been forgotten and amalgamated into one character when they were originally foils. We are mad that two characters keep getting ignored, with the introduction of the PS3 comic, and the fact that Liara calls them, "short-sighted," in LotSB, and we get a shoddy confrontation with them on Horizon. Also their representation in the PS3 comic, the fact that there has been absolutely no word for a long time. Many of those fans purchased the first game and bought ME2 because they wanted to see them again.Aradace wrote...
As I said before, they think it's "not fair" that Liara got a DLC and the VS hasnt. It's fanboidom at it's "finest"Phaedon wrote...
I still don't understand the negativity, why not wait for ME3 for a proper re-introduction?HTTP 404 wrote...

Many of us are also upset that it seems like BioWare is forgetting about this first game, what with the story changes in Evolution, how they were presented in the PS3 comic, their cameo on Horizon, and we have to be more vocal because many people hate Ashley and Kaidan without getting to know two awesome characters and the only reasons they have are, "oh, she's a religious zealot!" or, "Oh, he's so whiny!"
I can't speak for all VS fans, but those are some reasons that VS fan peeps are annoyed.

This. Also, it's become a 3rd person shooter with a Gears of War cover system and a basic leveling perk system reminiscent of a Call of Duty game. You get to play a game of Ocean's 11 when you already had a reasonably good cast of characters from the 1st one, then babysit them until they make you do some stupid fetch quest where you fetch their emotional stability/loyalty or they most definitely die in the "suicide mission".

How so ? You might just as well play as Kaiden/Ashley in the upcoming DLC with the "sacrifice" being mandatory -> too many squad members in ME3 problem solved.Aradace wrote...

We might be seeing a little information in the next few days. I rather doubt BioWare will be making an official announcement any time soon though (at least not before the release of DA2)

That'd be about my assessment. Roughly a 75% probability that there will be no VS DLC.

I guess it's a good thing I kept a couple of pre-SM and post-SM saves around to experiment.
Let's see if DA:O can tide me over until this DLC hits the Marketplace. It's a fairly enjoyable game so far, although the romances are too readily accessible and mages are ridiculously overpowered.
