I think Mass Effect 3 will win the GOTY... BioWare get's better and better each year!
They are The Kings of Offline RPG's! The Mass Effect Series is probably their best work and they should be proud! I almost feel honored to play Mass Effect 2... :wub:

People calculating "profit" as $60 a unit are way way off. Individual sales don't have anything close to that kind of markup.

The reason that BW "hate" the VS is because they are twice as much work for half of the return of any other character.
It really does make very good sense to just kill them absorb the backlash off and have done with it. I'd say they could save more in costs overall than they would lose even if it annoyed every VS fan out there and they never bought ME3.

It's highly unlikely unless EA have some sort of issue with MS, then I could see it happening.

OP should get a sticky for this thread just out of general principle. This is the biggest news ever broken by a regular forum member on any forum for any game that I ever heard of.

If anybody's got a better example, I'd like to hear it.

I'm willing to bet money that either Kaiden or Ashley is going to bite the dust in this one. That way Bioware won't have to bring back 2 voice actors in ME3 when only half the players will see either one.

ROFL I was wondering when someone would say that, no I very much doubt this is PS3 exclusive.  The achievements are in the PS3 version because a new patch was released.

it will not be ps3 exclusive relax, the ps3 only got those other exclusive dlc because mass effect 1 isnt on ps3 its basically catch up dlc..... but this is very exciting news we should be getting another week of CDN with this content but i think ill wait till Bioware officially announces it before I schedule my days off from work haha:devil:

Agreed. PS3 users are still only a fraction of the market.

I can't believe the console wars. We get massive news about the game and the first thought of some people is "OMG! I hope the other folks don't get it first!"

Well if VS is involved, I hope they don't shout out how our enemies would have an easier job if they all attacked at once like a certain other person did during another mission

I actually wonder if Ultimate Sacrifice is going to be either Shepard surrendering to give rest of squad/crew time to escape or us blowing up Arcturus Station or something like that.

Also has me wondering if at the end of the last ME2 DLC (this sounding like it) will be a 'final' save point. As in once the mission is over all you can do is make an auto-save akin to how you can during the main game after the suicide mission. It makes sense that the last bridging DLC would have such a thing.

I wonder how long before the arrival of 'Arrival' for us to download?

I totally agree with you!
I personally have a PS3, but i have no issues for people who play the game on a different console...
This is awesome news and it would be a shame if only the PS3 would get the DLC...
