Object of Rho= Leviathan of Dis mayhaps???
Dr. Kenson is probably the closest person (besides the ppl we already know) to finding out the existence of the Reapers. The Batarians, who have been studying (possibly rebuilding) the Leviathan of Dis for 22 years, notice revealing connections between Kenson's paper and their own knowledge of the LoD. As a result, they decide to kidnap Kenson and use her knowledge of the Relays to help them understand the LoD. Unfortunately they reactivate the Reaper who starts ****ing their **** up by turning people into husks (somehow). In rides Shepard and co. who has to make the ultimate sacrifice (no idea what the sacrifice could be) in order destroy the LoD, but not before the LoD does something (vague, I know) that'll hasten the arrival his homies (which would explain how the Reapers made it from dark space to the Milky Way in a relatively short amount of time).
Just some random nonsense that came to my head.
The LoD dissapeard when a Salarian dreadnaugt arrived im thinkin if anyone is studying it its the Salarians (STG maybe)
It was a Batarian dreadnought. The Salarians had documentation of the Leviathan of Dis, but the Batarians denied it's existence after it "mysteriously" disappeared.

Also, I hope this isn't the last DLC for ME2. :innocent:
Just my two cents.

One thing I've noticed about DLC is the inclusion of a new, semi-unique feature not implemented in the main game. Examples include the sense of exploration given in Overlord, the car chase segment in LOTSB, the whole James Bond thing in Kasumi's loyalty mission, and so forth. Expecting Arrival to feature nothing special seems kind of silly when considering this. Vehicle-based combat isn't new nor special. Sure, it could be included, but it won't be the highlighting feature.Phaedon wrote...
I wonder if there will be vehicle combat.

Please, BioWare, raise the level cap! Figure out some way to make it have a bigger back-end. It's no fun when I can ding 30 by doing nothing more than what came with the dang game.

I am curious how a DLC involving the Reaper arrival in the galaxy would work though. I wonder if it will have any ramifications on free-play. I'm assuming you choose when to start the mission the same as any other, but what about after? And what if you start it prior to completing the Collector campaign? Wouldn't that create a massive inconsistency? Or can't you?

Hence the speculation saying this will be the very last thing you do in ME2, which also implies a post-suicide-mission-only trigger.JKoopman wrote...
Gee. An ME2 DLC called "Arrival". I wonder what that could possibly be about...? ;P

Is anyone sort of confused as to how this will work, if it is, say, the arrival of the Reapers?
If it continues the main games storyline, it'd be a DLC that'd force you not to die in the finale. (Which seems unreasonable as I imagine some players would be reluctant to have to follow a certain story path in order to play for what they've paid for)
If it can be accessed at ANY-TIME, that would seriously screw up the story. Like if someone decides to trigger the Reaper invasion the moment they first get the Normandy.
I mean, I guess it could work if it only became available once you've got the Reaper Tech installed upon the Normandy ready to access the Omega-4 relay, but again that would disrupt the pacing and urgency after the events that transpired moments beforehand.
So... YOU KNOW. JUST ASKING.
I'm not confused. I have faith in Bioware's writing staff. LotSB worked out just fine.
Not to be mean. But if Shepard dies in the suicide mission... he doesn't carry over to ME3...thus game over. Shepard is designed to survive the mission in order to beat the game. Because shep is the main character.

These fighters are also on the Normandy: http://img202.images...pacefighter.jpg
Shepard could control one of those.
