You will sacrifice a planet... Maybe Earth judging from the ME3 trailer - Shepard does turn his back to Earth in that preview...

I can see how you think... sacrificing Kaidan or Ashley would not make much sense from a PS3 point of perspective... unless they force you to bond a LOT with them during the DLC.. but I doubt it... sacrificing a planet, it can't be earth, because that's where ME3 will take place (mostly) however, I can see it being Kuchanka! (or w.e the krogan planet is called) or something like that... sacrificing a worthy ally who will now no longer be there in ME3... maybe sacrificing the Citadel? lol!

And if I had to guess, the sacrficie is going to be something limited to the DLC, not extending to the other parts of the game, as in squad members, and unfortunately it's looking like there won't be any VS DLC for people who want to reconnect with Ashley or Kaiden

Sacrificing the Citadel would be dumbest move ever.
Reapers can shut down all communications between systems and Mass Relays.


I think it's gonna be Earth and it makes sense.

how does this sound.....

after th SM, you receive intel about the good doctor from Liara, go to argos ro cluster, meet up with VS on planet. your squad now consists of VS and Liara, you fight though 5 waves of attackers to reach the doctor, and must either (1) allow reapers to enter in mass through multiple relays. or (2) sacrifice the SR2, with all crew aboard, and the Reapers only hit earth.

Hope those Batarians don't mind me laughing at them as I fly by em' to the rescue of my brothers in arms.

For those trying to follow developments, the last big thing was posted by D4rth Man7iz several pages ago. As summarized in this site, this thread inspired somebody to look in the PC version of the new appearance pack, uncovering more info with interesting detail. To my knowledge, this latest windfall has not been confirmed by BioWare.

Looks like the Normandy is headed for a long stealth mission in Batarian space. And the "wave" attacks might be "ill" (indoctrinated?) Batarians.

I just read that PC costume pack post. Bioware really does put files in the oddest places. I get the PS3 thing, if you want to play the DLC you WILL have to upgeade to the latest version. But putting files into something that people may not even have just ludicrous. It's not like they will be able to leave them out of the DLC anyway because not everyone will bother with costume packs.

How much you want to bet that the Alliance wants to get their people out, need the Normandy's stealth ability to do the rescue, and the VS has to go along with you?

Now let's hope the "Ultimate Sacrifice" isn't the VS. I don't think BioWare would do that, since the VS is the LI of so many people, and the LI is supposed to have a big role in ME3.

VS = Virmire Survivor, essentially, after the Shadow Broker DLC came out, people wanted a DLC where you could romance Kaiden or Ashley again, depending on who survived Virmire, hence, Virmire Survivor
