I'm hoping the price is free since it's a story bridging content.
Hey maybe they'll make Mass Effect 3 free aswell seeing as that's story related too

I see your point but I feel they did a fine job with the suicide mission. Surviving great odds is a massive achievement and I've had playthroughs where some did die. THey didi it fine IMO.lolwot wrote...

Because its the same sort of heavy handed writing as Virmire, remove any other options so you are forced to make a choice. Even if the situation is totally illogical based on what you have at hand.
*spoilers*
In any case, it's far better than the situation we had in ME2, where you could avoid any negative repercussions in a so called "suicide mission".
THIS.
I really liked having the option to save them all, especially playing with my one Sole Survivor Shepard. She saw it as a chance to make up for failing her team on Akuze and failing Ashley on Virmire. Considering the conversation she had with Kaidan later when she essentially says that she resolved to do better for them and would do the same for Ashely, felt right. It made a strong narrative and emotional sense for me, and totally gave her more depth but that's just like, my opinion. Yeah.

I suppose this means the DLC probably won't be out until May at the earliest. Which likely means this is the last content DLC. I guess that would make 3 DLCs now, but I didn't really see Overlord as a bridge DLC which I thought there would be 3 of.

LOL! It is all over the place. Someone will just happen to be fired over this!
Why do some people have an obsession with some one losing their job over this ? It was a mistake, **** happens. No one will be fired over this because these things happen. Hell it isn't like this hasn't happened before with other developers, I have already said several times this happened to the GTA 4 DLC on the PC. The achievements were revealed in the last PC patch MONTHS before they were ready to tell us they were even bringing the DLC to the PC.
Please lets cut out all this "some one is going to get fired talk", no one is going to get fired. It was a mistake and people learn from their mistakes and ensure they don't happen again.

I wouldn't be so sure. Releasing a DLC shortly (say one month) before the release of ME3 isn't out of the question.Bluko wrote...

There still might be two DLC left (Arrival + unkown pre-ME3 release DLC)

All this is from this link
DISCLAIMER: No assurances here that any of this isn’t garbage. This is simply a boildown of the most solid bits from the Destrutoid link. It is notable, IMO, that no other game media site has posted this info despite the fact that Destructoid says where it was found and how to get at it.
Data files in the AAP2 DLC. The data-entries directly follow LOTSB data.
A new system is found:
Viper Nebula --> Bahak System --> Clogon, Arathot, Yunaca, Urnola and Bastzuda, plus a quest location for “Rescue Dr. Kenson.”
Planet descriptions are available by following the link.
Each planet has the same travel advisory from EDI: “The Batarian Hegemony considers any presence of Alliance military vessels in batarian space as hostile. The Normandy SR2, while an independent vessel, strongly resembles the Normandy SR1, an Alliance ship. Use of stealth systems is highly recommended.”
The rest is bits and pieces, looking a lot like choices on the dialogue wheel.
=====
This information SEEMS to jibe well with some of the last entries from Cerberus Daily News. The management is not responsible for any false hope that results.
Cerberus News entry for January 22nd:
Batarian and Alliance Forces in Standoff in Skyllian Verge
“The galaxy is on high alert as starships belonging to the Earth Systems Alliance and Batarian Hegemony refuse to back down from a confrontation in the Skyllian Verge. The encounter began when a frigate from the batarian colony of Aratoht discovered an Alliance cruiser, the SSV Budapest, on patrol in the Bahak system. The Alliance claims the Budapest was chasing a pirate fleet that has been harassing human colonies in the Skyllian Verge, and that it was fully within its rights to travel through Bahak's space. The Batarian Hegemony has demanded the Alliance's immediate withdrawal from their colony's system. Three batarian cruisers stationed on Aratoht are now on their way to join the confrontation.”
The entry for January 23rd:
SSV Budapest Retreats from Batarian Space
“The Alliance cruiser that sparked a standoff between the Earth Systems Alliance and Batarian Hegemony has retreated from the Bahak system. Hegemony officials claim to have found no trace of the pirate fleet the Alliance was allegedly pursuing when the SSV Budapest flew into the system. The Alliance maintains it was chasing pirates raiding human merchant vessels when it crossed into batarian space, but refuses to release any of its ships' logs. Despite this, Citadel observers say the Alliance's withdrawal has done enough to ease tensions. "The Hegemony knows the Alliance is attempting to save face," said one anonymous Citadel diplomat. "At this juncture, the humans' retreat from Aratoht [in the Bahak system] has gone from a diplomatic crisis to an embarrassment they want swept under the rug."”

Wait, is that from the Cerberus daily news? Is the new DlC here already? WOOT! I expected it to arrive a few months before ME3, not this early. I knew it was gonna involve batarians. *cough* Balak *cough*.
The entries from CDN from last month don't signal the imminent arrival of DLC at all -- unfortunately.

Bioware said that they'd release a new stream of daily news for a whole week exactly before the final DLC. I don't play online so I don't know if that is it. Maybe, It needs confirmation from a sad ME obsessed soul.

Pwener2313 - it's quite possible to prove Bioware it's possible to get all dlc's for free. No point in it though.
Well I got them "free" with the PS3 version although charging ful price for an old game and making no changes struck me as cheek anyway.
I'll only download it a couple of weeks before ME3 is released anyway when I play ME2 again as a refresher. Price should have dropped by then
