I must say this does sound like Bring Down the Sky 2.0 to me.

What? No. She is kidnapped by Batarians (hope it's not terrorists) and Shepard gets to work with the Alliance once again alongside Virmire's survivor to save her. The missions will be stealth as you search each planet looking for her in probably 5 potential bases the Allaince already knows of. Since the SR-2 has the only Tantalus Drive, the Alliance has no choice but accept Shepard's (Cerberus's) assistance and Kaidan/Ashley tags along to keep an eye on Shepard. Again, they'll be stealth missions so that the doc doesn't get killed if Shepard starts blasting through each planet killing Batarians left and right. A good change of pace if you ask me.

Im curious as to the final achivement; "The Ultimate Sacrifice". I hope it's a potential betreyal against Shepard by the Virmire's Survival.

Makes me wonder if Shepard joins back with the Alliance at the end.

Uh, no. They're a feature of the Normandy-class of vessels, of which there are now more than one in service.

Really? Anyway, the Normandy has other exclusive features that will allow it to infiltrate each planet. They need shepard nontheless.

Edit: The DLC will likely be a lot like "Stolen Memory". Stealth and smarts! Hope it has a final choice, because LotSB did not and it was kinda disappointing.

Don't worry, probably won't be. But i do hope it involves losing something important to Shepard. I also see "The Leviathan of Dis" making an apperance which I have always expected it to be a "dead" Reaper.

One is mentioned in the news: the SSV Ain Jalut.  It was part of raid directed at a batarian colony.

Yeah I hope this "Ultimate Sacrifice" is personal for Shepard and not just some character we barley know dying.

As long as it's not my ammo capacity, I'm happy.

there are some sites who believe that this dlc will be out in as little as two weeks..OHH BOYY

Going out on a limb here but I'm going to say no chance, whatsoever, at all. Heck, the trailer isn't even out yet. Its gonna be a couple months imo.

I agree...probably trailer in April, release in June or July.  Pure speculation of course.

Trailers for the other DLC add-ons came shortly before their release. The trailer for Lair of The Shadow Broker was released less than a week before the DLC came out.

No proof, no dyce. and as the final DLC, Kaidan *HAS* to be in it. It involves the Alliance and Batarians. They're in it, trust me.

I hope Balak (if spared) from ME1's DLC Bring Down the Sky is in it :)

Trust me, guys: We will see something new and unique to this DLC. BioWare loves experimenting on DLC. They always feature new stuff never seen in the main game. Examples include the exploration in Ovelord, James Bond in Kasumi, the car chase portion in LOTSB (among a few other things), etc. This one isn't going to be any different. There has to be something less generic and more defining in it.

If he does not make an appearance or he is dead, he will most likely be referenced in some way.

Yeah, little late for that.  Almost 70 pages late.

I love Phoenix's faith. Wish I had it too. I expect stealth equipment like sensors 'n' stuff. Probably not too much since infiltrators can't have benefits in it over other classes.

EDIT: Didymos, you seem to be very informed on the progress of the thread. *IS* there a cameo by Virmire's survivor, or not?

Indeed. I'm almost certain there will be Bring Down the Sky references in this one. There are some undeniable similarities between the two incidents, after all.

This DLC better break my heart as in "emotionally" tear me from the inside like when I had to sacrifice someone on Virmire from ME1.

D*** right. Hear, hear.

OT: Wow, I never thought I'd actually encounter an instance where someone would actually use the correct words in that phrase.  lol.

I should have thanked you for that one long ago, JediNg. Thanks.

Agreed. I was damn close to shedding a tear by the end of LOTSB, and there was no sacrifices or anything.
