I dont pretend that there wont still be more posters claiming that those of the previously mentioned characters will kick the bucket but it just doesn't hold water in what has a strong cohesive, pathos driven story.
As far as the speculation to the DLC title its certainly plausible that the Reapers will begin their invasion but best bet is that its a teased sort of thing so that way it gets you siked...then again Arrival could have some completely different meaning altogether that is just exclusively tied to the events of the DLC and not anything previously seen like was the case with Overlord. For the people who provided some of the only proof so far many thanks to you because that is where you are most likely to get a sense of what this is going to be about.

Based on the evidence and what I just noticed while doing my playthrough, I'm willing to guess that this mission occurs in the local cluster. If this has been disproven, obviously, I wouldn't check all 87+ pages to see. That system is about the only system in ME2 that doesn't have a mission in it. Strange that they'd put it in if it wasn't going to be put to use. I doubt it was just for nostalgia.
they put it in because its absence would be notable. it is the only system that, in the real world, actually exists as it appears in game. its there for show.

Anyway, we had a very good point about the ultimate sacrifice in that squad members could all be dead anyway, so good point, it probably won't be one. With what bioware have said about romace in ME3, I seriously doubt it'll be the VS, and remember, it's a DLC. I'm sure there are a few Ash/Kaidan fans out there who will play ME3 and not have played this DLC, now, that would ****** me off for sure. And I seriously doubt it'll be Shepard. I agree with those who say an in DLC character.
As for the 2GB size, you could have a point there, though as we know, size doesn't correlate exactly to how much content things have in them, look at Zaeed's for size compared to Overlord for example. All we can do is hope they'll put as much in it as possible, and with the recent quality of their DLC's, by which I mean LotSB, I'm sure they will. I'm sure it'll be as big and long as that story could possibly be, remember, they said massive, and it's taken them a very long time to make.
I am about to search the internet to try and find out if the 2GB limit applies to DLC. I'll let you know if I find out.
And yeah, I'm also pretty sure that Arrival means reapers, unless garrus is right and there's something worse than reapers who suddenly show up, it wouldn't surprise me, but damn I hope not

I think the stealth portion is going to be the equivalent of the car chase scene from LOTSB.
Could you possible be less stealthy than a 200mph chase through the sky, smashing up trucks and crashing into buildings? [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/tongue.png[/smilie]
Yes, detonating a nuclear device on virmire. I know how you meant it, I just had to say that.

What? Nobody wants Zaeed and Grunt on a pure stealth mission? I'm shocked!
Oh gee, I wonder why........
Subtlety isn't exactly Grunt's strong point, then again, he did learn from shepard. Grunt's idea of stealth is probably using a smaller shotgun and not shouting out when enemies die as much.
Anyway, I stand by what I said about thinking it will be sooner than with LotSB that we get info, and a fair amount of info.
That just made me think of something. You don't suppose subtlety not being Shepard's strong point is a trait he inherited from Bioware?

The Kodiac is a stealth ship and I could see them giving us control like in LotSB to fly through waypoints between radar posts or something. I'm excited for this though, I imagine we will have some planetary exploration. What would be really sweet. Is if they do like the suicide mission and we can take our entire crew (if they survived) and assign them tasks during the finale. That would be epic!

Well, technically, that was pretty stealthy! The whole mission was a diversionary tactic involving the salarians whilst you slipped in the back of the base unnoticed by the bulk of it's defence

Sorry but stealth to me = frustration and controllers flying into walls.
Which is why I prefer PC and a non-wireless mouse -> restricts collateral damage to a minimum.

Then why no missions? The first game had an important mission that occured there. You could specialize after doing it. Why nothing in two (so far...)?SomeBug wrote...

Also, the achievement/trophy mentioned a human doctor from the University of Arcturus, yes? It also mentions recon/stealth. Maybe part of the mention takes place on Earth or Mars.

It's also there for some comic relief when one wants to probe Uranus.
